Waiting for release on Orbx, but yea- Cowan is reliably good.
This is one of those helos I thought was neat, but never figured someone would bring to the sim

It looks like an engineer got their 5 year old kid to draw a helicopter and they just went with the result. I usually like strange looking vehicles*, but I don’t know if I can do this one. … 
* hey, Asobo / iniBuilds … fix the Wasp so it works in FS2024. You are selling this broken thing in the Aviator Edition for almost half a year now!

What do you expect when Cessna makes a helo? From some angles, it looks like one of their planes, missing the wing of course.
In any case, I seem to remember you were running a list of oddball aircraft that this thing would be right at home on

Cowansim has really stepped up their texture work with this one. I know it’s technically meant for 2020, but I hardly ever use it anymore and it’s working great in 2024! I’ll get out a video eventually…my project backlog list is getting long…

I’m seriously tempted!!!
The only two positives I can draw from this are:
- It’s… unique. Being kind.
- It could be, ummm, interesting (?!?) to have to fly and LAND a helicopter that you can’t even actually see out the front of properly, except for a very thin vertical slice. That’s different for sure and might be a “nice experience” (once), or a totally dangerous PITA
…how much is it again?!

The visibility is pretty good actually. The front mounted engine is only slightly visible past the edge of the instrument panel.
I don’t know if this design wins ugliest helicopter ever, but its definitely a top contender

Cessna Helicopter One - and done…no mystery there. How many of these were ever produced? 50 according to Wiki - and it was the first helicopter to land on the summit of Pike’s Peak.
Got it last night and have about an hour in it so far - very nicely done! Has a definitely different flight model that is I’m guessing a bit due to it’s shape. Has power, is quick to turn and flies with energy. Graphics and resolution are also very well done - very much an upgrade in all areas from the 2020 helos Cowan did (I own them all) and definitely worth the price based on current levels for things.
Update: Already one of the best helos in the game for me - has a hefty feel despite it’s small size - gives it a nice stability in flight, though definitely requires trimming. Easily hits it’s top speed of 100 knots - makes a fun tree topper and river runner, though you have to anticipate that same ‘heft’ in the turns. Has a unique character reminiscent of Taog’s Huey.

Very funy, this helicopter was made for 42% out of existing Cessna fixed wing aircraft parts , the best example is its nose

I bought this last night and after the fiasco with the Beta Update I finally managed to test it out properly and I have to agree with @JPVann9916 with everything they said.
It’s brilliant to fly, and being a VR user I was a bit concerned on what the views would be like, but my concern soon flew out the window. It’s far better IMO in VR then in 2D.
I did have one tiny issue while I was testing it in MSFS2020 whilst waiting for the Beta update problems to be fixed. I could not get the passengers to show up no matter what I tried. No loss though as I only use MSFS2024 to fly now, MSFS2020 is purely for testing stuff.
Now in MSFS2024 it’s amazing! I can get the passengers to show up without any issues.
My hanger is full of Cessna’s now and if another Dev releases another Cessna, it’s getting purchased

Yeah I was thinking how the board meeting went when Cessna bought a helo company: "We have a warehouse full of extra parts - we don’t need to make anything to sell a new one! It’ll be like printing money!’ lol…
