I just notices that the COWS DA40-XLS is out. The price is not too bad and it looks good.
But does really fly without pilots? (Looks like that in the in the outside shots of the preview video)
SU1 Beta brings back pilots to third party aircraft in 2024. Had to change it from female to male though!
It’s really very good by the way. Well worth the price. Perfect for 2020 or 2024 too.

really!? Your post is the reason why I buy it now. I had plans to buy it, but in all there trailer no pilot model was shown in the cockpit, so I had planned to wait until it is fixed
I imagine all the trailers were done in 2024 before SU1 beta but I could be wrong.
You will need to join the beta though to see the pilot in MSFS2024.
Where can you change the pilot? I was searching for that option but without success.

The feature list on this is astounding. I’m famously anti-glass but the engine simulation on this makes it a must-buy.

Yea i saw this video on YT yesterday (by a A330 & B737 pilot) and was REALLY impressed by that lovely plane and its modelling.
Watch him showcasing all the great features by doing some nice things with the plane.
Oil temp is not rising at all even after 15 minutes of idling. Am I doing something wrong?

Love the plane. However, prop keyboard binding not seems to be working. Is it something different?
Really an excellent addon! I love all the details and the more manual character of the airplane compared to the DA42. Definitely in the same league as A2A and BKSQ.

Can someone with 2024 check for me if it’s got crazy canopy reflections like the DA42 has? I love the 42 and fly it every day but those reflections (not present in 2020) are starting to get to me. Would like to get the new DA40, but not if it has the same problem.

Can you please post a pic of the canopy reflections that you want us to check ?
It’s harder to tell in pictures than in video, but it’s the wavy lines all over the canopy. It’s quite dizzying actually, constantly moving and dancing around. It looks almost like CFD visualization but with low quality graphics.

Edit: Here’s a video showing the reflections I uploaded to YouTube. Unfortunately I had to use ClipChamp to edit it and it didn’t allow me to export at full 4K, but I think it’s pretty clear.
