I am glad they are still working on it as the shape of the nose and nose wheel does not look correct.

Yeah they just said they still have to do textures and “program the aircraft”… That doesn’t sound anything close to ready. I expect it will be a while.

I just hope its decent whenever it arrives! I hope when it does arrive you will give it a shakedown. Your reviews carry a lot of weight in my purchasing decisions as you seem to know the things myself and many others look for.

I think this was wishful thinking on my part! I haven’t heard a thing about this since. I am gonna put this out to the universe though . We sorely need a dash-8, any variant. Heck, even the ATR or Saab would be fantastic for this sim. If I could make one myself I would lol.

I will be passing on the NextGen stuff going forward. The Bandeirante was enough. However, Carenado also has a Saab 340 and according to them, they are eventually planning to bring all their stuff over. We will see if that will be good. Their 340 in P3D is ok. I own it.

I think the project is dead, no new news and their dash8 update progress site has been down for weeks😔
That is too bad! I hope we get a good turboprop soon, my msfs fleet desperately needs one!
Many of you may have heard of Skyline Simulations Dash-8 project?
They had a pretty nice article on their website where we could see the WIP pictures and a video of the development. All of a sudden the link/article on their website with the WIP pictures was not removed.
I believe many of us (me included) thought they had cancelled the project.
I tried to get in contact with Skyline Simulations support team through mail and facebook the whole summer but i did not get answer.
UNTILL TODAY, i have finally come in contact with Skyline Simulations and i have got confirmation that they are still developing the Dash 8. When i asked them why they have removed all content from their website they answered that they will be updating their website soon with more pictures of the Dash 8.
