If you are experiencing issues with server connectivity, do you currently have installed (or have you ever formerly used) the mod which replaces the default MSFS map data with a different source (“Google Maps Mod”)?

This mod is known to cause issues because it makes changes to your Windows hosts file so network requests sent to the MSFS servers are instead re-routed to your localhost. We have provided instructions on how to remove this mod and un-do the changes it makes to your hosts file in the thread linked below, and many players have reported that following these steps has fixed the connectivity issues they were having with MSFS2024.

Hello folks, I have received word from our Zendesk support team that they were able to successfully resolve the “low bandwidth” issue for several players.
