Every week event is packed in the spotlight event pack, and it’s free on the market place, you just have to get it.

You can give it a try, and if it doesn’t work, i guess this achievement was obtainable only for early simmers, but can we say that’s a bug?
Well @louma55, it’s definitely a bug as a new simmer that buy MSFS now cannot achieve it. The description doesn’t say it’s only for early simmers.
MSFS dev team recognised it as a bug, you can see this topic has been categorised as “bug-logged” my MSFS.
So please everybody vote for this bug so it can be prioritised, it’s on the top left of the initial post, near the title " “Decathlon” Achievement is unobtainable "

The new SU doesn’t seem to have brought anything new either. There’s not even an acknowledgement of this issue from the devs that their flagship game has unobtainable achievements (which is one of the core Xbox systems).

It is out of my imagination, why they don’t took a lot of pressure from themselves and made the package counting towards the Decathlon-completion.
Maybe thy misunderstood the fact, people just don’t only want to fly the legacy spotlight events, but want to have the achievement as well.
In my opinion, doing the achievement with that package isn‘t a gifted achievement, because you still have to complete the challenge like everyone did before and at least I‘m waiting since the console release to complete the Decathlon cheevo.

Maybe the way the Dev Team is looking at bug-logged topics is wrong for our issue?
If you just look at the bug-logged and select the Top sort / list, it zoom only for the latest 1 year so our issue doesn’t appear either!

Few beta updates and still 0 new Spotlight Event
First Flight Airport is still the only challenge available. We have not gotten a new one in 5 months. Asobo, maybe it’s time to fix it? or are we asking too much? 
Wouldn’t mind seeing them return myself. I started a year ago and I’m only at 2/10.
I’m at 40% right now. At this point I think the dev team either have a ginormous backlog, or they don’t consider broken achievement is something worth fixing.

It’s not broken, they just haven’t released any new things for it in months.
