I know this may sound like a stupid question. but, I am still downloading the update and I’d like to know what all did this update fix?
Did it fix the problems with the ATC?
Did it fix the problem with some of the planes, when you touch the joy stick when the auto pilot is running, it goes into a nosedive?
Did it fix the problems with the landing at airports such as the landing being wrong? And you end up crashing? I believe this was referred to as a localizer problem?
Again I’m not trying to be a smart Alec I’m still downloading the update and I like to know what I’m getting into..
Just diving in now. GPU usage still high in menus. FLC is much, much improved climb mode with A/P ON. Clouds look even better since the noise has been fixed. I am seeing improved frame rate.
Frame rate is also tied to Cloud Performance if you’re streaming Bing Maps and Photogrammetry. Today is a “good day” for that, at least in my flying region.
This is primarily a content update. Some small bug fixes. But no major feature improvements. The next update will be features, more bug fixes, and perf improvements.
For me everything no longer limited by main thread. Sim silky smooth with no stutters. Some frame tearing but no big deal.

Nice job Ashbourne;)
Looking at the release notes there are several bug fixes mentioned but not a word about ATC. Very unfortunate as for me, this is the biggest problem going now with this sim.
As much as I’d like to see it, I don’t see ATC fixes until end of the year if ever. It needs a complete overhaul. I think it’s still bug-hunt and optimization.
On screen menu boxes still don’t remember their locations from the last flight, this was broken in WU II and hasn’t been fixed since then. I want to test the creeping water across the cliffs if it is fixed as advertised.
