No hotfix for me, neither in the store, nor in the sim. The update process remains to be a puzzle.
Yeah, had that immediately after the World Update 4. Can’t say anything about the hotfix, tough, because for me there is no update in the MS Store.
Anyway, most of the time it wasn’t noticable, but it’s really, really bad sitting on runway 22 L or R of Nice (LFMN), especially when you move the head fast:
It looks like it might be something to do with one of the nearby pilots having a livery that might be causing the stuttering for all in the area.
In the store app, select “All Owned”, then click on “Get Updates”
steam did an update on the game client, but the game did not download anything.
edit: game says i’m on 1.15.8
Just checked, no updates. But it says “Modified minutes ago”. And the folder in the WindowsApps folder says “Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.15.8.0_x64”.
So I guess it must have updated in the background without giving me any notice about it.
That is what usually happens here if the computer has been running for a while after a new update comes out.
If it shows the version number as 1.15.0.8 you have the hotfix and are good to go.
While trying to resolve these problems, he has practically rebuilt his machine / setup from the ground up new windows install, new fs install, hell I think he even did the naked goat dance to the full moon to get results…Same as here nothing has changed, of course I dont use WASM so I wasnt counting on this changing anything for me.
Add-ons still read ‘not installed’ in the content manager. Wouldn’t it better to solve this issue as well with the latest hotfix ?
Today when starting FS2020(Steam) it showed up as 1.15.8. Great!!! so far but then I realized that I still have no functioning Garmin G1000 Softkeys/ no com no nav encoder working in Airmanager using the Mobiflight MSFS2020-module which was working flawlessly until updating WU4. Also its not working in Spad.next, whatever button on my Saitek Dash2 I assign with whatever Softkey events is not working. Was working before updating WU4 absolutely flawless.
Anybody having same issues? any info about that? any idea what is wrong, how to solve it?
That after the patch is much better than before. Are you complaining because there is a bit of mist?
Well, since launch, I have never been able to successfully download FS, so I can’t tell you 
I have not seen this… could it be a MOTION BLUR effect

Tried it with Motion Blur On and Off, no difference.
Everyone knows that I am no friend of Microsobo or many of the things they do and I are CONSTANTLY critical of them for many things. However, I do believe they deserve our thanks today. They aknowledged the WASM issue fairly quickly and they release a TRUE Hotfix to get it fixed, in what would be record speed for Asobo. Still many issues going on but for today I will hold off on the criticism and celebrate our small victory in getting something so detrimental fixed.
I did that and got “White Anglo Saxon Male”.. Certainly not sim related. Wouldn’t it have been easier for you to just answer the question?

I have 1.15.8.0 installed but had nothing to do with the installation. It installed of it’s own accord.
at home I always have half of my addons that do not work
I was afraid I couldn’t use any purchased add-on from the Market Place, not purchase any new one, because of this bug. I agree with you they deserve credits for releasing such fix this fast indeed!
I clicked on reset and reset and it worked again!
