How do you warm the oil without take off ? in flight ?
Seems like 2100rpm is indeed the magic number on the T6 btw. Also keeping the bubble in the middle but i think everyone knows that.

LOL
yeah I think we’ll eventually need a matchmaking system, even though that will most likely increase wait times
like I said I’d rather wait longer to have a decent race than have lots of pointless ones
in T-6 “Red Big” this number between 2800-2900 rpm, so there is no point in words that the characteristics are equal
Since you really have no idea who you are racing agains, you might consider to just considering you are racing against yourself (a know quantity), and trying to improve your own Personal Time.
Competing with others seem to being out some undesirable and poor character traits in some !!!
yep, during the first laps
is there a way to keep the digital displays turned on (flying Gotcha!)?
they’re on during the intro but get turned off once the race starts and it’s difficult to see the rpm on the gauges, well precisely and perhaps for me only lol
also do you always need to set the rpm again after qualification?
absolutely
ok i totally see what you mean now, it’s not about losing some points, it’s about the system not letting you prove yourself and gain those points back
yes, you can quickly lose points in one race, and then collect them back through dozens of “0-points” races, and spend hours in the lobby waiting for the incoming player
well this is bad for everyone, new players will be put off not being able to compete with more experienced ones too
■■■■ this scoring system is flawed… i’m racing against 2 players, the first one win, i’m second, he is over 2400 so he gets 3 points, i get 2, the third player was under 2000, he’s losing 5.
Next race, same first player, i finish second, last player quits. Now the winner gets 9 points and i’m losing 1… because some bitter loser quits, i’m losing points myself. That’s just unfair.
it seems that you can go higher than 2462, if you beat 2300+ players
and looks like only by stealing points from Jeff lol

It’s risky though, one lose and can try again for hours, last race was so tough I only won by inches
that’s usually fun, but not like this lol
Can’t watch the video unfortunately. YouTube says the video has an age restriction and wants me to verify my credentials. Just a “brief” simple check by creditcard or sending them my drivers licence. Yeah … let’s not.
Any way you can give us a summary of the most important tips concerning the prop pitch?
Especially when they keep asking for it even after giving them what they want.
Does anyone know a good time to play (UTC) to find players in the lobby?
I’ve only managed 1 race in each type so far with no practice and I’m already ranked about 500 worldwide. Makes me think there are not many players or I am just using it at a bad time.
i was about to ask the same question, the servers are pretty empty tonight.
One thing about the points system, it’s not over 2400 that you don’t make point anymore, i just raced a 1980 points guy and i didn’t make anything while i’m at 2390 with the biplane. So it’s more what score you are racing against than how much you have.
sorry, but youtube sucks, and I am not messing with their kiddie laws, so if you’re not 18, and don’t wasn’t to verify {I understand why, I don’t do that either}.
So basically …the video just allows you to see the RPM and KTS while I change the Prop Pitch after binding the controls to my joystick … if on a PC … its the [Ctrl-F2] & [Ctrl-F3] commands.
And you see how lousy of a pilot I am … as I prefer the cockpit view …
On the bright side, I will lose points now as I just got my HP Reverb G2 delivered to the door just moments ago … so now I need to learn how to do VR installation and re-learn to fly …
Don’t worry, VR is better for racing, i tried without it for a full day and it was terrible. At first i thought it was better but when i came back to VR, i could really see the difference.
