! Hey its a sim for the scenery goodness, and the vfr sectionals give it justice. Love low and slow and cross country trips. Been flying vfr for months on this sim and I just donāt have the interest for jets anymore on this sim. They eat frames,not perfected yet and gets boring after a while. I use xplane for jets because the models and systems are so much better there.
Iāve BANNED using jets in this sim.

Maybe, a payware version should be made in near future, Iām sure itād make great deal of profits.
LFPG is an amazing airport (in reality).
Aside from the predictable whinging about minor unfixed issues and nebulous āperformance optimisationā has anyone actually tried out the default turboprops? Seems like a ton of good fixes there.
Also icing seems to be greatly slowed, hopefully itās a bit more realistic now?
Canāt wait to test it out once tonight.
I try the AI copilot every time an update comes out. Hopefully someday it will be fixed. As long is it can at least follow the flight path, Iām willing to put up with all the other bugs. Iām hoping they get it worked out before the Xbox release. (Any idea when that will be?)
If the loading screen issue happens again, Iāll wait longer, but it appeared to have just completely frozen as it was taking way longer than normal. Also a computer reboot seems to have cleared it up.

Anyone having issue with AP ignoring approaches? When AP transitions from the flight plan waypoints to approach waypoints, itās ignoring them and just keeps flying straight ahead and ignores the approach waypoints completelyā¦
Ok, finally they did show up. Donāt know why they were not visible in the first place.
nobody would want to test the fixed icing as most simmers are from the northern hemisphere and itās getting blazing hot !
I donāt want to nag, but I really need that replay function if Iām ever to get my piloting license in this sim. How much longer for that one?

My first flight coming out of KLVJ near Houston got really bad stuttering and straight up freezing for 4 to 5 seconds every 15 seconds or so until I got up to about 15k feet. Up at cruise I am back to smooth steady 40 FPS or so in WT CJ4. I thought that there were going to be optimizations to airliners/jets and were looking at making some changes to LOD (specifically trees) Thought the forum was definitely a confirmed issue they were going to optimize but seems they just worked on the GA planes and called it a day basically. Not too impressed. Seeing as others are reporting many new bugs update seems like nearly a wash. Hey though, at least it doesnāt seem like major game breaking bugs were introduced. That may be a first for a Sim Update.

Not usable for me now 
Only fly in VR and getting CTDās when setting the auto pilot in the TBM
Also had lots of CTDās when trying to fly FBW mod
Update went well, no problems at all.
I did remove the community folder before the update
No overclocking
Ryzen 5800x, RTX 3070, 16gb (Nvidia driver 457.30)
Well hacked off now.
If I am not to fed-up tomorrow might try in 2D with the latest Nvidia driver

most of the must-have features such as a working replay, seasons, particle effects, seem to have been postponed.

Fair enough, though hopefully it fixes the āoops I brushed a cloud and now Iām flying an ice blockā issue

So is mine. My last flight (first with this update) EVERYTHING was wrong. I described it here:
Currently flying in my home area. According to the sim, itās 40kt winds and thunderstorms. And thatās the conditions Iām seeing in sim. Rain, and lightning everywhere. Iām looking out my window right now to see a partly cloudy sky and light breeze.
This is what the weather currently looks like in my location. The weather in sim looks more like whatās being forecasted for tomorrow vs actual conditions - thunderstorms and high winds.

airliners never seem to get any love. especially the āpremiumā planes. even when a lot of issues stem from them. especially performance related.

Not certain if it counts as āfreeā content, but there should be several aircraft updates for you to download in your Content Manager after installing 1.16.2.0.

Okay, well, I do applaud your efforts. If they ever get it working weāll know through your hard work!
I havenāt figured out yet why it sometimes - apparently out of thin air - goes like a snail when clicking āFlyā (note the contradiction!). But I did narrow it down a bit to either a change in the community folder or a change of location on the planet. It seems if I depart from where I landed on the previous flight, itās slowish as usual. But when I suddenly move to another part of the planet, it seems confused and needs way longer.
performance has been a bit bad for months though and itās not something that has been getting better, On approach into airports where fps gets down to like 15 and having stutters and pauses even on strong pcās lol.
