And Iād also like to point out that the trees draw distance is still pretty immersion-breaking. I know that it wasnāt mentioned in the release notes - itās just a shame that this otherwise great looking sim has such an issue. This is LOWI again with ultra trees & terrain and 200 level of detail for terrain & objects:

Upgrade went good for me but no fun when you find its screwed up, very unstable at the moment.

With the 787, it was impossible to take off with a full tank of fuel. The plane bounced off the ground (even with the co-pilot). The weather radar is out of order. My install is clean and with 0 Addons. We went back further. What used to work no longer works. It is incomprehensible. All the avionics are corrupted. I do not know what to think anymore.

Just returned to pompano beach after 1hr flying vfr in the c172.
Final answer 
no ctds, 60 fps, cessna 172 flying really tops.

maybe thereās something not poroperly update or the orbx addon scenery fixes it (for me)?
strangely enough you get at LOD200 a further treedistance?

Installation of the update went fine. Removed all files from Community folder using the MSFS Addons app prior to installing. Just completed my first test flight - Pasco (KPSC) to Yakima (KYKM ) with the Cessna 172 Garmin 1000. Flight went OK, and autopilot worked well. One problem I do not remember having previously is that the display of AP, LOC, GS, HDG was so dim I could barely read it. Had to increase the cockpit magnification to maximum to barely see anything. I adjusted all brightness settings (Avionics, Pedestalā¦) to maximum. I have not yet tried the G 1000 mod to see if this helps. The plane follows the GPS and NAV1 as it should, and followed the approach correctly, with the flight being recorded in my total flight hours. Thus overall I am pleased with this upgrade so far.
I was considering that but donāt want to do it again & AGAIN!

Live weather is definitely broken now. METAR for my local airport is showing 12010KT 10SM FEW028 SCT070 BKN250 but in game I see wind 050@25 with heavy shear and gusts. Also its always thunderstorm and the ceiling is like 800ft. The weather engine seemed to be in a pretty good place prior to SU4, but alas it must have taken a step back.
Performance is definitely down again. CPU utilization seems worse, I can barely get above 30fps with settings I was getting 40+ before. Even with the lowest setting I barely get what I was before with a mix of High/Ultra. This isnāt an addon issue because even in the default DA40 (steam gauges) I was getting 60fps locked and now I am getting around 50.
Install went flawlessly though as always

All went well here didnāt mess w/community folder. Did a test flight standard route and picked up a few fps but noticed a weather condition I havenāt seen before, there was spotty ground fog here and there even at my arrival airport, looked pretty cool. Maybe it was there all the time and I just havenāt run into it yet.
Unfortunately I am still getting CDTās during flight in VR after Sim Update 4š I just wanted to let you know, in case someone official really reads this. I have the following setup.
- HP Reverb G2 (latest firmware)
- AMD RX 6900xt (latest driver, even tried older once)
- i7-3770 CPU (I know itās old, but the game, until it crashes, runs just fine, cpu/gpu temperature/memory wise
- 16GB Ram (I just ordered another 16gb just to see if it makes a difference, even though I doubt it will)
- My community folder is emptier than empty
- Vatsim for injecting traffic
I tried so many fixes and nothing helped. I think itās time for me to take a break from the sim and try again in a year or so. #iknowfirstworldproblem
