I will swear Asobo has improved the A320 and the 747, today both are handling exceptionally well.
I tried the A320 Landing Challenge in Reggio Italy and it performed great and got a good score immediately, I will have to try a few others just to confirm.
P.S. Regarding 747, will have to re-configure my TCA Quadrant as the reverse thrust is now given it full power which is not good while trying to brake!
No changes were made to any planes on my end. This is a world update, not a sim update, after all.
“Too many cooks” yeah that’s right, but remember it’s better to have many of them instead of having nothing (or only a few who can’t cook properly). This sim has been growing thanks to several collaborations, and the community itself is proud of such efforts, since all of this helped tremendously the growth of MFS in this very first period.
After this World update. The sim is CTD without fail 3/4 of the way through after "hit any button to start.) On Xbox
Nice… Why another WU if thousands of XBox Series players even can do any flight without issues like aircraft display freezing and CTD?
We don’t want more WU, we just want the simulator to work properly, is it hard to understand that?
It was suggested to me to delete the reserved data, by going into the MSFS application options on the Xbox SX home page.
Glad to say that allowed me to load the game, but now I’m installing (rather quickly to be fair) all the WU’s and add-ons.
I agree - I’ve wanted to see an auto-gen runway exclusion zone. There’s a lot of cases where unrealistically tall trees interfere with your runway approach and cause you to come in high and steep.
But if you do a simple global solution, then there are always edge cases for bush strips where there are trees in the way and that’s part of the fun / challenge.
I do think it would be better to globally suppress trees on the approach ends of runways, and then add back trees to specific locations as needed ( or let users do it ), since that would fix the majority of issues for everyone.
I wouldn’t say it will never be fixed, it just needs to be raised, brought to the devs attention and have a priority put on it. People need to vote on topics that matter - and improve the sim for everyone, and not “I miss trains” and 1000 votes for one specific region of localization.

Yeah, that’s right, but I have just tried the Boeing 747 and changes have been made by Asobo, that alter my settings on the TCA Quadrant, this normally happens on Sim updates.
I put the thrust levers in full reverse and the engines spool up to full power. Only a few days ago it was working correctly on another challenge?
Haven’t got time to look at it tonight, but I think I will have to make a new Profile to fix this.
I think that’s just the difference in the sunlight and the drone camera angle. Yours look just like mine usually.
Two tips: 1) we’ve just had an Italy update. Remove your third party LIRF and see what happens. 2) Look at the liveries of these planes in the background. Without your addons, these planes are invisible? Remove some liveries, restart MSFS. Some textures (=liveries) are very expensive. Especially hobby work ! Check out where most bytes are in \Community I would say.. move these out.. textures don’t need to be 2GB in size..
has anyone else settings reverted back to EASY? also the HUD is now back on? how do we turn this off? been away for a weeks?
Gutted. I was hoping to break out the Gozo Air livery on the BN2 Islander.
Can’t confirm, I’m still downloading Italy. But it should not happen on World updates (WU)
If you’ve been away for weeks, you probably downloaded SU-9 as well. With software updates (SU) you can get a reset.. and you need to check Content Manager updates as well. Also I’ve seen a reset of Assistence options when internet connection fails for my XBox-App (e.g. Azure server issues, settings are stored with your account)
What are you talking about? I’ve started the Sardinia tour, and it works just fine. Descriptions have gotten a lot more fun too, actually referencing visual references (like roads, coastlines, crossing bodies of water, remarkable terrain) again.
I have no complaints about these new bush trips, they’re actually a massive improvement over the Spain ones.
