Do you have Cityscape Sydney installed? Uninstall that for now: WU7 - should I delete my Orbx Sydney update? Reinstall it once an update for Cityscape Sydney has been released.
Have you tried deleting the rolling cache file?

^ → Sorry for my expression. In general, the simulation is more than efficient and offers undeniable pleasure. The (too) many reviews are often on points of detail that ignore the amount of work that this software represents.
I read/heard somewhere that approximately 60 people worked on this World Update. I’m very grateful for the amount of free content that has been released and will continue to be released for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The paid stuff is good too as I’ve bought a few packages and planes. The World Update VII: Australia is just superb.
you get that in parts of australia, because they have long fences to keep the animals

Sydney Harbor Bridge
The Sydney Harbor Bridge shown on my screen is a plain old bridge, not the arch steel superstructure bridge shown in the MSFS opening picture. I followed all the release notes when installing including the information about the Community Folder. Wondering if I should delete and reinstall the update!!!
I live in Australia mate the so called long fences were all gone by the 1960ties get your facts right BTW I live in the remote part of Australia I should know 
Have you downloaded the WU from the in game Marketplace as well?
Why does the title screen / menu require 95 - 100% GPU?

Installing either Cityscape Sydney or World Update VII: Australia from the Marketplace will fix this. Just don’t install both until Orbx release an update for Cityscape Sydney: Compatibility news regarding World Update VII - Australia

I downloaded what I thought was the latest update and went to the Content Manger looking for World Update VII to install the Australian components.
I didn’t see it in the list there of updates. Was it supposed to be there?

No it is in the marketplace. Filter results to “free” and you will see it there to download.
Don’t look in the Content Manager, look in the Marketplace. It should be a $0.00 “purchase”. Once purchased, then you will see it in the Content Manager in the future.

Just spent an hour in my local neighborhood.. Bendigo to Melbourne. Followed the freeway and did circuit of city before landing at Orbx Essendon.. Verdict… superb !!! After spending all day dealing with COVID in my daytime health role…I didn’t think about work once. I know this flight corridor like the back of my hand.. it was so realistic. There are always improvements and just a couple, no hanger sheds at Kyneton, great if someone could now do a Bendigo custom makeover.. come on the team that did Shepperton and as amazing as Shark AI is, when you know the area well … the wrong buildings do just jump out… but that’s part of the progression in building sims and the seasonal ground textures… do make northern Victoria look just too dry even for summer,. must have been shot in a drought year. But that’s all just nit picking really.. great job Asobo.. you certainly didn’t disappoint and you picked up on all my real concerns from before the update. Thanks and thanks

World update has been downloading for 7 hours and still going. I see the progress, files are being installed, it doesn’t look like it has frozen. It looks like it keep circling around. Is it normal? Internet speed is very fast. Should I stop the process and start over or I just sit for another several hours?
