Leaving this caused a lot off issues for some people in the past.
What is the trouble anyway to do this ? 5 Minutes of work ??
Aircraft selection is slightly faster, but it still takes half a second to load the boxes/images when scrolling left and right.
Other thing which is fixed and not directly included in the patch notes is the rendering scale setting, which was introduced by updates 1.9.x. Setting was not kept after closing the application if it was set to values higher than 100%. Now it´s working well and the screen resolution supersampling is the correct one.

I think the reason it’s important to empty that folder is because every add-on in that folder was built upon a previous version of the simulator. There is always the potential therefore that an existing add-on might conflict with changes made in the patched version of the sim. However, I don’t empty it. I simply rename my community folder to something like communityKJK (my initials), And then create a new empty community folder in the same location. When the sim updates it’s not looking for a folder called CommunityKJK. I then gradually add back add-ons after first of all flying the vanilla simulator to make sure everything is good. That’s what I did with the previous update, and that’s what I will do with this one later today.
I get an unknown error when trying to do the update from the store. Previously I would uninstall the app and then run the install from the store again. However this time around it will not install the digital ownership cert citing an unknown error. At this point I cannot proceed with the update. any advice is appreciated. I have rebooted multiple times btw.
So I already posted on the Steam forums as well. Just FYI guys, i get about 4/5ths on the loading bar after patch and then CTD. No mods in the community folder, check the official folder and its empty. No files at all. Don’t see a way to redownload as it justs CTD on startup. anybody getting a CTD, see if your files are gone in the offical folder.
I have an immediate CTD at the end of the loading page and before ariving in the main menu.
I clean evrything that was in my community folder and restart the computer but no joy.

Check your offical folder. I think this update wiped all installed content in the offical folder. I have nothing in mine. Its not been moved either, as i dont see space increased anywhere. I infact see 140 gigs less on the drive FS2020 had its content installed to.
Update completed here (Steam / 7,52GB) no issues to be updated, speed ok with no stops or CTD. Now it’s time to flight and check any specific issues.

Refill during flight … Just close your eyes and pretend it just didn’t happen 
One thing I will miss without cockpit tooltips is the actual useful information when setting things like barometric pressure or heading… where it would give you the current value in the tooltip. That was convenient and easy to read and made setting the value quick especially when trying to set a precise value.
Obviously can zoom in to fine-tune as needed.
That’s just so unbelievable when I’m using an online flight tracker. I mean, it seems so simple to fix… the values are clearly copied and pasted from the CJ4.
