Do MSFS 2020 Premium Deluxe or MSFS 2020 Deluxe planes upgrade to the 2024 version if you buy the MSFS 2024 Standard version?

Hi. Did anybody who owns the MSFS 2020 Premium Deluxe or MSFS 2020 Deluxe version buy the MSFS 2024 Standard version? And if you did, did the 2020 Premium Deluxe or 2020 Deluxe planes get upgraded to the MSFS 2024 version? The MSFS 2024 FAQ just says 2020 Premium Deluxe and Deluxe planes will “automatically work” in MSFS 2024, it doesn’t say they will also be “upgraded” to the MSFS 2024 version.

If you owned the MSFS 2020 Premium Deluxe or MSFS 2020 Deluxe version and you bought the MSFS 2024 Standard version, please let us know if the 2020 Premium Deluxe or Deluxe planes were upgraded to the 2024 version. Thanks!

I see them in my library but they are not selectable. I hope someone from the staff can clarify this. I really hope these are the updated ones from MSFS 2024 and not the 2020 ones.

can you start a flight in the longitude ? ver 1.0 looks looks like its the 2024 one

Its not selectable in the aircraft selection menu.

In my Microsoft store it shows Premium Deluxe and Aviator versions with a download form the cloud symbol. When I click on it, it opens a box asking to install in the directory I set Xbox games installation…and ..yet within MSFS2024 it seems to show these versions are installed…I’m confuesd.

Those clearly say the 2020 version. I don’t think it’s updated to 2024?

Those are the liveries. I’ll wait for a day to see if there are any changes to the library. If not, I’ll raise a ticket to their Zendesk.

Ahh cool. So everything with “2020” next to it are just the 2020 liveries. For the aircraft, it says 1.0.0. I am crossing my fingers and hope it’s the 2024 version of the Citation Longitude.

Do you see 2020 next to the liveries or next to the aircraft? In the photo above from ChckenTikka720, it only says 2020 next to the liveries, but not the aircraft. If you don’t mind, can you post a photo of what you see for the 787?

You should be able to fly the 787 in game if you owned the 2020 Premium Deluxe version. Thats’ weird if you can’t select the 787 from the menu to fly.

I guess its related to the marketplace, wait until marketplace is online and we will see. If not, holysht its a huge scam im gonna blow up microsoft

Can people also comment on the handcrafted airports when they get a chance. I’m wondering if the 2020 airports are provided in a compatibility mode that just work, or does the standard 2024 allow you to use the new builds of the airports with the 2024 features.

So basically its the same question as the aircraft - are they the 2020 versions with some compatibility or are they the full new 2024 versions.

Also has the new handcrafted 2024 Bilbao been provided to you?
