DV20: Unable to operate NAV/COM frequencies on GNS430

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Then on, there is no way to change COM or NAV frequencies with the Garmin GNS430 unit in the DV20. You can turn/twist the knobs all day but nothing happoens.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Diamond DV20

When enabling the in-game “Communication” panel, it looks like the electric bus of that plane is wrongly modelled. The avionics master switch is on, garmin GNS430 and transponder light up but some parts of the unit and ATC system think elec is off.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

The lights remain off even though toggled on. So the electrical bus is broken in that plane. It’s basically useless as of today and can’t be flown.

All of those may or may not stem from the same root cause: broken elec bus.

In SU2 Build v1.4.9.0, one can now change & swap frequencies for the Com Radio. The electrical warning is no longer displayed.:

However, one is still unable to toggle between the COM & NAV Radios (at least, I’ve not found a way to do it):

Same problem with the gns430 in the freeware Yak18T
COM1 can be tuned/swapped but NAV1 is dead as a doornail.

Using the relevant simevents through a simconnect interface also does not cause NAV1 freqs to budge…

I suspect this issue maybe specific to the GNS430 but applies to multiple aircraft that include it in the instrument panel.
