Perfect. My next test will be in some photogrammetry heavy region, likely LA with tiles bypassed but PG active (source for PG is still MSFS Bing in this case).

There is some weird problem, I had some of these issues showing in EBBR (Aerosoft) and disabled photogrammetry and the problem went away, enabled PG again and some big red tree was shown, but the other issues where gone (on DX12)..

Edit: After reload, no problems (yet) with DX11

Next test, Long Beach to Santa Barbara, VFR through downtown LA.
Photogrammetry → Bing
Tiles → ArcGIS

First five minutes, live weather so it’s a bit foggy and cloudy - no pop-ins or artifacts, downtown visible below

Another five minutes passed, still nothing, heading over community build six flags park

10 minutes later arrival at Santa Barbara, still nothing. I gonna retest with the default Bing tiles.

You’re not going to encounter it if you don’t force the memory exhaustion issue that causes it IMO.

I encountered it before on flights this long  1.5h + another flight before. Ib4 the issue started right after 5 to 10 minutes already

Oh, sorry. I thought you were trying hard to get the first repro.

@HethrMasn nope, that was the one replied to

Anyway currently I try to repro the repro (lol) but somehow no pop-ins by now using the full Bing party which makes me wonder if there were probably some server side changes @Jummivana ?

Can someone else try to reproduce the issue who had it?

No server side changes that I know of since you last tested!

Thank you for clarification, Jayne! On my end the issue is no longer reproduceable, @moxiejeff told it can also be tackled again if graphical settings are changed from ultra → low → apply → ultra → apply (if I recall correctly).

Edit: found another way to reproduce it by toggling VFR map on/off:

I can confirm. Same issue.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?

Yes, I’ve been seeing huge trees as well.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

Agreed that the issue is fairly random. I saw it while taking off from Las Vegas but only when looking in certain directions. It might be related to proximity to trees, as when I reached cruising altitude I stopped noticing the glitched trees.

Are you using DX12?

Yep.

Are you using DLSS?

Yes.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

If it matters, I’m running an AMD 5800X3D, RTX3080ti, 32GB DDR4 RAM.

Same issue for me to

Same here, no need to take any drugs now to experience such a psicodelic trip

On a more serious note, every time this happens I get also a big increase of the GPU time, which was not there before getting the glitches.
