ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: EGLL Heathrow Airports ILS 09L decent path is pushed off to the right of the runway causing the aircraft to follow that incorrect decent path.

Various weather systems have been tried even no wind clear skies and the same effect.

I can confirm 110.3 IAA was seleced and captured.

I am on playstation with this issue and I do have the premium deluxe version with the hand crafted airport enabled.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every ILS approach on 09L

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load an approach to EGLL 09L with any weather/wind but I would say 0 wind for a clearer picture.

  2. Allow the aircraft to capture the ILS and follow the decent path

  3. Barabing baraboom you will glide the approach just right of the runway

Seems to have the same issue in PC/store version. Voted
I don’t have the chart for this approach. Anyone know if this is an offset ILS??

I can replicate in FS2020 & FS2024, same issue with all runways 09L/27R + 09R/27L. Had a quick look at EGLL charts on the web flight planner I am not seeing an offset indication but I am not familiar with them.

EGLL is a straight in ILS the closest offset ILS will be London City.

London City GPs are 5.5 degrees but I’m pretty sure neither of them is an offset ILS.

I have the exactly same problem landing in EGLL with the Gaya Simulations EGLL and the inibuilds EGLL. MSFS2024 PC Version

Same here on xbox, all 4 ILS approaches at Heathrow i’m off on the right of the centreline. Experimented on yaw mode with the localiser tuned in different aircraft (default A320 and PMDG 777) and weather same result. Used the navigraph charts with correct course and frequency, it definitely captures it. Initially thought it was because the Gaya scenery wasn’t disabled when I bought inibuilds but no luck. Also disabled LVFR static aircraft as thought it may cause a conflict.

Possibly linked, surprising this hasn’t been picked up on at Heathrow considering how many users are always landing/taking off there online, can only assume it’s not an issue in the PC version and they are aligned correctly.

If I remember this was also an issue in the Xbox version of MS2020, and a earlier reply in this thread stated they were able to replicate it.

Will just add to this that im on PC 2020 and never had issues with ILS misaligned though im also a Navigraph suscriber

I’m using the most recent AIRAC cycle 2603 as I’m a subscriber too, just tried 9L in inibuilds a350 and same as original poster. Don’t think it makes any difference, it’s a console problem. Hopefully they look into this as kinda spoils the Heathrow experience.

Could also be the ILS are alligned correctly but scenery isn’t, not too sure.

Thanks for referencing my post in this. The more awareness of this issue the better.

I am on a pc and it is still doing this.

Hopefully the developers can come up with a solution to this soon.
