Having the same issue here. 4090 on 566.14 also having issues with guage pop outs not working. Is anyone else seeing that as well? Everything was fine before the small update that happened, I think, on the 1st?
I went back to 566.03 and the exact same CTD, This is ridiculous.
I am not wasting anymore time so I guess I wonât be using the sim anytime soon.

Hi everyone: If you are using an Nvidia GPU, i may have a fix for you.
I do not update my drivers frequently, but up-to-date enough. I install 566.36 which ended up giving me this error for MSFS2020. 24â worked fine however.
I have reverted back to 566.03 and it works as intended, and gives me access to msfs2020, with no crashes or errors.
DO NOT USE the Nvidia Geforce experience app, please refer to the Nvidia website.
I did go back to 566.03 and had the same issue but I found it seems to be related to the update that came out to the Fenix A320. I loaded the IniBuilds A320 and had no issues and then did two successful 2+ hour flights in the iFly 737 Max 8. This was also on the latest Nvidia Driver 566.36. I have opened a ticket with Fenix Support

Same issue here only with the Fenix sometimes it happens straight away other times 20-30mins into the session. Only happening with the Fenix all other aircraft nil issues.
Still getting this hung driver error and itâs very random. Can complete a number of flights without any issue then all of a sudden I get hung driver error and CTD.
Made changes to TDR delay and level and doesnât stop the CTD.
Nvidia 4070Ti and used 566.36, 566.14 and 566.03 and all provide the same errors at times. All installed using DDU and just the drivers, not Nvidia app

They asked me to do the following:
Please try the following, in the Fenix.exe application:
Enable Alternative Display Renderer
Uncheck Display Sync
Since doing this I have not had a DXGI CTD, never had to select these options in the past so something must have changed in the recent Fenix update.

Not sure what they changed but it all started for me after the 2.3.0532 update
I still have that error now 1 month after release. I am still not able to play MSFS2024. All the help with the register etc. didnât work. Please vote for this topic, otherwise we will never be able to use 2024.

I just bought this game on steam and now I canât play it, great. Microsoft, why am I not surprised that literally the only games I have problems running are yours??
If I canât fix this in the next day, I will be returning. The above solutions did not work.

I tried this and the crash has stopped happening for me too. Amazing! Only downside is it turns my monitor to black and white but I donât mind as a temporary fix as Iâm using VR and that stays in color.
Well this method worked a few days ago but now it crashed again with the same error message I also noticed when it was working before that MSFS was over-reserving RAM beyond the 32 GB I have installed and the sim would crash, but this did not always happen. This is very frustrating. So the sim is unusable. I have 7800x3d 32 GB RAM and 4090.
Checked my tempsâŠgraphics card 45 C so no issue with overheating. I keep getting different versions of this error message. I often get DXGI-INVALID_CALL (0x887a0001) and CTD
I just switched to Nvidia hotfix 566.45 and performed a clean install. I havenât had a crash in several hours. Hopefully this continues to work for longer than a day or two.

msfs 2024 does not work for me yet. Constant crash to computer, white/black screen. Please advise
I just got the same error. The error occurs on launching the sim, and I did a flight few days before with no issues. I have not tried using one of the other drivers, as I higly doubt it will have any effect, since I have been running the sim with 566.36 driver version for a long time now with no issues. Only thing i have done since the last flight was just downloading some liveries for Fenix A320 and airport scenery; tried deleting them but with no solution to the error.
