You’re going to Court Marshall for this
I just realized that I started with 3 external tanks, but by the end, I only had the center one
I like that detail. It makes sense. I assume this was not on accident as I watched my F-15 canyon run version knowing I also had external tanks on that one, and the tanks remained yet I finished with 12% fuel, but on the F-16 once the fuel was used, the tanks/dead weight were dropped
This was by design yes?
in reality they should only disappear if you set them to 0 manually. But if you have them loaded and they are emptied, they stay since in real life I don’t think planes deliberately dispose of tanks (since some pedestrian or building could have a unexpected guest falling from the sky :D). should be like the F-15
I think the most obvious difference is probably the emulated FLIR synthetic vision screen. I wonder if that can be given an On/Off toggle?
There’s one toggle, the upper-left one in the PFD.
I would check if something can be done
I’m finally taking this thing through the Grand Canyon. Holy $@%!!! This is way more fun than I thought. I had to pause cause it was getting a little too intense. Wow!
Obviously I love the movie too ! The 80s quotes crack me up
When flying the f16 has anyone thought or said to oneself
“Do you think you can handle a loop?” Followed by
“Do you think you can handle the music?”
Anyway the f16 sounds awesome - have to check this out over Xmas
You won’t regret it.
I wish I could reduce a bit the effect, after I deploy the landing gears ( too much lift)
Is there a setting in the flight_model file?
Livery RNLAF F-16BM J-368, uploaded to flightsim.to
Only two F-16BM are still operational in the Netherlands.
One of them is the J-368.
As an F-16 painter at Volkel I tried to make a Livery of this one.
It’s my first livery that I upload here, so it’s not perfect, still learning.
The SC design F-16 had incorrect (cockpit) markings for the Dutch F-16’s.
Not all of the markings are applied, maybe in future updates. In this version the correct Dutch markings are applied.
Hope you like the livery!
Does anyone know, guys??
I personally, didn’t answered you cause the model is fine
So, you don’t help because you like it ??
What speed are you deploying the gear? Remember, the gear adds a lot of drag. The fly-by-wire control system will compensate by increasing the pitch to increase angle of attack and thus cause a lot of additional lift.
It sounds to me like you just need to practice your landings with that behavior in mind to anticipate the increased drag and resulting pitch response.
Ahem…It’s not what i like or not. It’s that i cannot help, in a problem that it doesn’t exist.
Need i also remind you, your lazyness for certain things ? (cameras)
You need to try more, and complaint less (friendly speaking)
There is nothing wrong with the airplane’s aerodynamics in the landing configuration, you just need to fly the airplane in the correct way, as has already been posted in this thread before;
I find that the 16 is the easiest of the three jets we have thus far to land(I haven’t bothered with the F-18). If I ranked them, I’d go 16, 14, then 15.
Deploying gear shouldn’t give you lift. It should add drag and slow the plane further. My guess is you’re going in way too hot. Slow down, let the flaps work, and let the gear out when it’s time(What’s it take to get out 100%? A few seconds?). The 16 behaves quite well at low speeds and low altitudes.
