Fix Controller profiles (Missing or Corrupting)

FYI, there are at least three other Wishlist items that request the ability to save controller profiles locally, either specifically or as part of a larger save of user data:

Backup function (export/import) for the controls settings

Hi, it would be nice to have a backup function (export/import) for the controls settings (joystick, keyboard, mouse, controller). I made so many changes, especially for the camera assignments, that i am afraid if something goes wrong (update, upgrade, crash, etc) everything is gone. Thx and best regards from Germany Raller

The ability to create a total backup of the entire game locally

Request: The ability to create a total and complete image backup of the entire game context sufficient to reinstall a complete and working game. All game files. All game preferences. All game settings. All game metadata. All added content. World updates. Marketplace purchases. Cloud save

In face of the recent loss of logbook and settings (Playtime gone missing [Packages out of date]), I suggest the game implements some cloud saving strategy for all progress statistics of the game, including: Flight time; Player statistics; Game settings; Achievements and achievement progress; Friends list; Completed activities and activities progress; Logbook;

As I wrote in this thread, the number of votes for these is far less than other Wishlist items:

“The #1 item on the Development Update Wishlist (Implement Weather & Terrain APIs) has 2652 votes, so 204 votes is ~ 8% of that number. Maybe that is the reason why the MS/AS team have not focused their attention on this issue?”
