Didn’t even know that was an option. I’ll check it out. Thanks!
Hi, how is the plane’s performance on the Xbox Series X console? Because the Longitude is performing terribly.
Just wanted to reply to your fidelity query,
In Citation X, we have built a custom (likely the most detailed to date) engine management system. In simpler terms, we have extracted every performance parameter of the aircraft from the official AFM and created an internal database within the simulator. During flight, we query this database in real time using the current ambient and engine conditions, which returns the expected engine performance values. We then adjust the engine simulation accordingly to match those values.
In terms of pressurization and temperature control, we are not using the simulator’s built-in pressurization system. We found it to be inaccurate, so we developed our own custom pressurization system for this aircraft from the ground up. We believe it is far more accurate than the default simulator implementation.
For temperature control, we model airflow dynamics and volume-based calculations to accurately determine cabin temperatures and temperature changes over time.
Just wanted to let you know of these things, I think it’s not too well known in the community how deep the simulation goes in the Citation X. We have spent a long time tuning all these systems to behave as accurately as possible.
Also, don’t forget that you can find nose gear steering sensitivity settings in the EFB, this may help you with your landing rudder control problem.
Am I doing something wrong or the vertical profile displayed on the MFD is missing the dashed line showing the plane’s current profile? It seems to only show the solid line for the calculated profile
the fmc is literally broken, wrong or missing approaches, sids, stars. I’m fed up of this plane on my fs20 xbox… Shame.
I can’t say that I experience the same. IMHO one of the best business jets in the sim (PC and MSFS2024).
Agree 1000%
