The problem with the Aera is that it’s such a horribly ugly little unit and is the one item in an otherwise excellently modelled and textured aircraft that looks out of place. I’d swap it for something else given the choice. Otherwise I just stick to the glove box instead.

Exactly, that’s all I meant. I think a simple 430 would match the airplane better, but fair enough! I use the glove box too.

I can see your perspective on this guys. However I wont be able to release that with this update due to time constraints, but will be on a list of features for the next one.

I am working on Rans S21. That is my next product. Its already a far off in development and one of the reasons why I am so time limited. I need to balance between the two and am a single dev as most of you already know Am aiming to release it around FS2024 release date for both sims. That is the plan. Will keep you updated on that also.

Hello guys. First I want to apologize for teasing this to you for few months and not delivering it yet. Sole reason for that is me constantly expanding on it and trying to listen to your suggestion in order to make this product more tailored to its user base. Here is the news on the latest progress and this time list of some of the features that are coming with update:
-Floats variant with additional liveries
-Engine managment and wear and tear (this will be expanded more in future updates)
-Oil, Coolant and Fuel system checkpoints and system upgrades.
-Updated autopilot interface
-Hobbs is now working properly
-and finally fully integrated save states
These are some of the major changes to it and I am hoping you will like it.
It will be available to you guys pretty soon as I think it is time for me to slowly wrap this one.

Since I bought your plane, its the only one that I fly. I’m discovering tons of little airstrips in my country out of the D zones. It’s a pleasure VFRing with this little beast. Even in these bumpy summer days. I cant wait to add into the experience all these new features.

Any release timeline?
I am currently finalizing the updates and applying it to existing variants of the rans. I cant say for sure how long will Marketplace test phase last but release will probably be synced between stores and will depend on marketplace.
I cant speculate how long will it take but probably within next month is my best guess.
What is important is that I have covered majority of requests from you guys. Most important ones for sure. Its way more than its originally planed for this update :).

Can you add the option to load the PMS50 GTN750 or GTN650?

Unfortunately in this update there will be no such an option. Rans is concepted as purely visual flying aircraft and aera is there just to help with navigation for those who need it. However if there is enough interested I will add that option in next update.
For now I will have to return to the s21 development as I only have certain amount of time and am aiming to finish it at around the fs20204 release. S21 will certainly have those option if not a custom avionics entirely.

Do you have another project planned after S21? Because, if you let me this little wish/request, a beast like the Zenair CH 801 (701 on steroids, a lovely little bush plane) with your touch would be a blast!

Did you incorporated the fix to dampen the oscillation by the taildrager if you activate the AP? I know there is a inofficial fix but I bought from the marketplace so I can’t change the aircraft.cfg (encrypted)
It is my number one plane!! Love it
