Moving now, different aircraft - the A6-EOC. I don’t know if leaving ground-power connected might have halted it, I noticed that and didn’t forget it this time. It’s late, might have been my error.
I’m fairly sure that the ground power connection would just “get pulled out”, but certainly with GSX pushback, trying to taxi before the tug has been disconnected and the locking pin being removed is not a good idea.
I seem to be having a lot of random problems this session - engines cutting out now despite all fuel pumps enabled and everything else normal.
I shouldn’t have any failures enabled. This is telling me, 10:30pm, time to shut it down and that’s it for today.
Just a Heads Up.
An ‘A to B flight’ is Australia to Britain.
They have to stop for that so it’s more like A to S to B.
How do i get the BTV to work. I watch all kinds of vids and tutorials but it seems different then what i see.
I also read in the status, active 4-okt 4nov… i have the latest version i think, but it seems i am missing something
But i cannot select anything… have runway 24r selected, but cannot select a thing
You first click the runway that you have in your plan for arrival. It should be highlighted with a green arrow.
After you clicked that runway you can click the exit you want to vacate.
And that is is.
You need to have the arrival runway set up in the CDU. Then you will get a green arrow pointing at the runway you selected, click on the runway# in that map, pick a turnoff after “wet”
yeah… i was clicking the green arrow as a madman… now i see i have to click the box with the runway numbers in front of that…thanks for the advise… i am first going to sit ashamed in a corner…
My FBW A380X (using the FBW installer) looks totally different from the version you all fly.
Where did you install it from?
In what way is it different?
I do not have a choice between a 4K and 8K installers. And I can not click a small yellow button to enter the cabin. And I can only fly in real speed.
You may have downloaded the leaked version, when it got… leaked. And now your installer is configured wrong.
So the FBW installer was leaked and it is still no good?
The reason I ask is that my aircraft seems to be flying ok. Right now on a flight from EGLL to OMDB.
Why oh why are livery creators so misleading over 4k or 8k? Please be transparant, because it matters for those who don’t have a x3D and a 4090!
I think there was at least some livery terminology confusion at the start at least. The aircraft itself is installable as a “4K or 8K” option. This led to some liveries being titled “4K/8K” meaning the livery worked with either of the aircraft versions. It is confusing in that some of those liveries were actually 8K only. So people thought they were getting both but ended up with the high res one instead, and many were asking where is the 4K one that was referred to in the livery title.
There are a fair few liveries now that do have the option of both 4K and 8K livery textures now though.
Is there some trick to the integrated lighting? The knob is at 100 but I have zero integrated lights on any panel.
I would really love a high density cabin one day… boarding 853 passengers and their luggage. Can probably add 90 minutes to that flight.
Some details that might not have been noticed before:
Look at the glareshield reflection on the windshield.
And the displays reflecting on the underneath of the glareshield:
Stunning details, really beautiful. I had a few non-flight sim folks commenting on just how stunning this plane is, and how realistic it seemed.
Does Simbrief have a limit on this plane with 510,000kg maximum takeoff weight?
I used the A380 yesterday with 255,000kg of fuel loaded and no passengers or cargo loaded with a theoretical London-Sydney flight plan which would take about 20 hours non-stop. It looks like it would get there without problems - but I had to tweak the takeoff speed numbers for the higher weight and the climb I had to watch the speed carefully.
