I wish someone would to a GSX configuration Video for proper intergration with FBW A380 (
it just seems confusing as most of the time i have to restart GSX after i ask for fuel

Seems a bit outdated, which is your version ?
Search for A380 here :
Some fix already from 3.2.9 around Fuel
I’ve done a couple of flights with the A380 in 2024 and loved it, but I do have one question. In 2020, I enabled 4x sim rate (which runs just fine for me) by creating a modelconfiguration.ini in the aircraft’s work folder, but I can’t seem to find the right directory in 2024. I have the MS Store version.
well i use the FBW installer and update with that (dev version) as the 12 V0.12.3 mailine release doesnt display the labels in the cockpit
No, rather mentioned GSX application to be updated !
it is the latetes 3.3.6 , also the wing walkers are being sucked into the engines as they are walking right infront of the engines when starting up
VERY dangerous thing to do ![]()
Totally agreed! The FBW planes are almost boring because they just work! Shows what is possible in 2024. Great aircraft that set the standard for quality and incredible value. Highest quality/value to drama/noise/nonsense ratio in all of FS.
QUESTION I want to be able to use my tablet/phone to access the FMC. I know this is possible with the A320 with SimBridge, but is this being planned for the A380X with it’s modern touch-screen FMC panel?
Is it just me or the Navigraph section in EFB is bugged? It’s so hard to scroll charts. I “touch” it with left mouse button but they barely move. It’s the only EFB from all the addons I have where this does not work properly.
The are… walkers after all ![]()
not that the walking dead was my cuppa
I mean they’re clearly wearing magnetic anti-gravity boots…
I know MSFS2024 still isn’t supported as of yet but I just can’t help myself. So tried an 8 hour flight from Dubai to Birmingham and with just 2 hours to go, it crashed upon beginning the step climb to 400. After weeks of trying, I was sure that I was close to completing my first full IFR with it as I assumed I’d found a work around where if you’ve inserted the Simbrief flightplan into the EFB, you can restart the flight whilst still at the gate. Upon reloading, ATC finally recognises your IFR flightplan.
The only problem I noticed after restarting was a vastly reduced frame rate and a sort of rubber banding effect. But the IFR not being recognised happens on the base game A330 still sometimes, so I’m assuming this is an Asobo issue and not a FlyByWire issue.
But oh well. I’m just going to have to be patient like everybody else, I guess. ![]()
A380 works very well in FS2024 on my PC, I did several flights in recent months and didn’t experience any issues. It works the same as it did in FS2020.
Interesting. How are you filing your IFR may I ask?
Just an FYI, I can tell thats Sydney YSSY, a380s only use bays 8,9,10,57 and 61
just to help out on your next flight.
I use Beyond ATC. The fact that default ATC cannot recognise your IFR plan has nothing to do with what plane you are flying. You need to submit your flight plan on the world map, before you spawn at the gate. Select a gate first, then load the flight plan and after this hit Start Flight. Don’t change anything after you load the flight plan because the game will reset it to VFR.
So the A380 works well in MSFS2024 for you but only if you use Beyond ATC and use this work around with loading the flight plan within the world map. Thanks for clearing that up. I’ll give the world map mertjid a try thought.
Thanks
Yes, it does work fine. I used this work around for all planes, not only A380. I would have thought they fixed this flight plan bug in SU1 but apparently not.
It loaded fine. However, i still get that wierd rubber banding effect after the IFR is recognised even if i use your method.
I don’t understand how these two things can be related. What is that rubber banding effect?
