Yes, the g1000 NXi has it
Oh, good to hear that. I’ll try it in the DA62.
Maybe we should wait PMS50 put VNAV to GTN750.
It is also worth checking: GTN750 System>Setup>Options>Allow Com/Nav switch and Restart GPS.
I saw that option and enabled it, but all I could see was it labelled ‘NAV’ to ‘NAV1’ and ‘COM’ to ‘COM1’ so I left them there. Similarly on 2nd GTN unit it labelled ‘NAV’ to ‘NAV2’ and ‘COM’ to ‘COM2’. They usually work without having to use that toggle though, but I like the new labels so have left it enabled.
No issues seen last night using the GTN750 / 414.
One question I do have is what is everyone using in the livery picker? the 414+GTN750? or the 414+GTN+WT? (whatever this does). I read somewhere it’s perhaps other (working title technology) WTT features? Perhaps these are only available on the payware GTN750? Can anyone elaborate and let me know the difference. I’m just using the freeware GTN750. So generally just pick the 414+GTN750 livery.
Checked again yesterday and no luck. I’m guessing the TDS version doesn’t have the wind layer which is a real bummer. Wish I knew that before I bought it.
The TDS version displays wind if you wish it to. It simulates the unit in it’s entirety.
I must be blind then
Care to enlighten me how to activate it or where to find it?
When I get chance of course, It’ll be later today though.
Greetings fellow aviator,
I am currently redoing some textures of the Flysimware Cessna 414 and the JustFlight BAE146, and I have checked how and when this bug was introduced in the main 3D mesh file of the C414.
This bug begin to occur in C414 versions after 9th of July 2022.
This is how these lights looked before:
Now:
I unfortunately cannot fix this because I was still too lazy to learn 3D Studio Max and Blender and other 3D modelling software to change the 3D models auf airplanes, therefore I have already contacted the Flysimware forum and asked them to please fix that bug.
Let´s hope the most beautyful and important GA-plane and the “Fenix of the GA-aviators” will be fixed soon
Here you go…
Select Map - Menu - ‘Change User Fields’ - Select one of the 4 fields - Select Data then scroll to ‘Wind - Wind Speed and Direction’
Hi guys. I bought the 414 just today.
One question. How do I charge the iPad? It ran out of battery and I cant figure out how to charge it.
Thanks in advance
Click the top left corner of the iPad. It will turn off. Turn it back on and it will be fully charged.
Perfect. Thanks!
This is great! It’s a shame that there is no power setting chart included with the addon!
Edit: Thank you for sharing this!
Thanks, I’m now using this simbrief profile. But simbrief keeps assigning me SIDs and STARs that are for turbojets only. Is that because the profile doesn’t correctly identify the aircraft type? What can I do about that? And simbrief also always gives me a 5000 ft cruise altitude. I have it set to AUTO, shouldn’t simbrief then automatically give me the best cruise level?
This needs to be a thing in real life!!
Sorry, I didn’t mean to delete that earlier post. Potato thumb problems.
Re-attaching my attempt at documenting cruise performance at a few select settings. Done on XBOX-X at standard temperature & loaded to 6750lb. At each FL I added a maximum option at 2650rpm/35.0"Hg and minimum economy options at 2100-2200rpm and 20.5, 18.5 & 17.0 "Hg. Also added an ideal, no-wind nm/lb column.
Edit: realized I needed to remove the 2650rpm/35.0"Hg row for altitudes above FL220 per the cockpit placard.
I have flown the aircraft a few times now and I noticed that each time I load in, my fuel level is the same as it was when my previous flight ended. Even if I change the fuel level in the world map screen. Is this a bug?
Change the fuel in the loadout page on the plane’s iPad
I finally broke down and got the 414. The Flysimware site says 3.0 is out but the SimMarket version I downloaded is only 2.9. Are we in a strange case where the MSFS market is more up to date?
