Update: I think the battery had died? it’s showing 0 amps. Would that cause those instruments to fail? If so, why isn’t the battery charging, both alternators are on and working (as you can see the other instruments are on). Very strange.
Yeah, the I got nothin. Been years since I flew my 414 IRL so I don’t remember if those are on the hot bus or battery bus, but if the mags are going and there’s no low voltage light idk….. definitely strange.
They have been working on implementing new code for the electrical system with working fuses. I have never had the clock or fuel computer go out on earlier versions. What version are you running? Possible bug?
Probably not the same thing but I did have a flight on Saturday go black avionics on me with the 414 on final going into KDCA. Yes, it is a 3rd party airport and I also have Washington area landmarks installed as well.
Flew 3 other planes the same day into KDCA for testing and not one had black avionics. Bummer…
In AAO (axis and ohs), the default axis choices for mixture1 and mixture2 don’t work. At least I can’t get the mixture levers to move. If I bind to the in-game controls then it works but not in AAO.
Does anyone have a script I could bind to my axis for the mixture levers?
They’ve stated a few times that the mirror stays. It’s a strange hill to die on, but it’s because the one they modeled has a mirror. If you’re on PC, there are several mods for the interior that remove it on .to
Don’t forget to add that you have to uninstall the Marketplace WT 530 mod if you use the PMS 530
While the C414 has been updated to properly use the WT530, as you noted, planes like the RV-14A have not. Any plane that also uses the G3X won’t be able to share data with WT default, and some AP’s that haven’t been updated won’t work with the new nav database it uses.
They’re not going to maintain it any longer, unfortunately, so probably best to bite the bullet and move on.
I’m sure it’ll keep working for a while, but then it’s also just as likely to suddenly die if it’s not actively maintained. So dies another addon! https://sadtrombone.com/
Hello. Are there any others here using the C414 on Xbox Series X? I am and I’ve found that, since the marketplace update of last week, the mixture levers are no longer working and are ‘stuck’ in the fully off position and will not move no matter what I try. I’ve confirmed this problem is limited to the C414 of all the aircraft I have on my Xbox Series X. The C414 was working fine prior to last week’s update.
Would anyone have any troubleshooting suggestions?
Also, a couple of other bugs that arose during the SU12 beta, where blank avionics screens and digital gauges would occur during flight and in-sim checklists being missing, have returned for me on Xbox.
Not sure what you were expecting.. but I’ve been waiting on weather radar EDIT: and working mixture and a lot of people have been hoping for for quite some time both of which are present following recent update on my Xbox version, the latter works fine though the former I’ve read isn’t quite fully functional.
As a customer, I’m expecting the updates that are released, to come through in short order.
I know the update you’re referring to.
There have been a few…since that one.
