the install from Steam is nothing else as these 1GIG folder within your library. The game itself do all the others stuff.

Synced data is only for logbook, joystick, etc. The folder-settings is these UserCfg , and so far I know not synced.

You can download / backup your current settings from the Steam Cloud Localy you can find these “cache folder” within, example: *C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\YOUR-USER-ID\1250410* note: 1250410 is steam id for MSFS. If you replace local files then Steam ask which files you will use. PS: I’am not 100% sure about that the input profile id’s are the same. But you get at least the content of the files.

How to remove the data bandwidth without open the game

note @Devesc1789 mentioned steam folders : ( or also ) We are not sure whether the “datausage” file contains that setting for bandwith limit. At least it contains usage. May be its enough to remove that file, but not sure… ( note: here the files contained in cloud, local steam storage ) In these thread a user had a issue with invalid setting, and done deletion of “all”.
