From XBox to Pc

Please click on CPU 1 and take a photo that shows the entire screen, not just a part of it.

@TenPatrol

By the way I did not plug cables on CPU_FAN plug

Only those 3

Please make sure that the cable labeled FAN is connected to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard.

It’s done!!!

Thank god!! Thanks

Hi

As you know I’ve also just built a pc, how important is it to configure the fans or can I leave them to do thier thing?

I just have basic case fans and a cpu cooler fan, not looked in bios yet.

The fan curve settings make a big difference. For example, they affect the CPU temperature, other components and airflow within the PC case.

I see, but how do I know what to set or is there some setting I can change that does it all for me?

If you’re unsure how to set something up, you can check the motherboard manual, CPU cooler manual and for additional help, Youtube videos can be very useful.

I copied you settings…was I wrong?

We have the same AIO and probably the same or a similar CPU – I have a Ryzen 7 9800X3D. The fan curves you see in the screenshot I added, I set once and haven’t touched them since, to be honest, I forgot about them
But hey, if it works, why change it?
CPU temperature in games is low, so I’ll leave the fan curves as they were set the first time.

I will check, can’t say I noticed anything about this though, I would have thought there would be a default profile config already in place though.

@TenPatrol hi, thanks again for all the support. i am enjoying the new toy a lot.

i have exeprienced a crash on the system, so i went to check GPU temperatures and usage…i’ll show you here. Is it ok??

Now it is winter and we have 5-15 degree, in summer i’ll have 40…

Those temps are just fine. I use this free monitoring software. It has a feature that lets you put a small configurable widget on the screen, but also lets you see a lot more information (including resettable min/max values) if you expand it. Here’s an example of the full app window on my screen. I drew a red box around it.

  • Note my GPU load and temps in the blue box.

And here’s what the widget looks like - it’s always visible on top of other windows. You can put it anywhere on the screen. Also has a red box drawn around it.
