Especially when you switch off the tool during a flight, you really notice how much atmosphere is lost. I never want to fly without it again ![]()
I was looking at this product and not sure exactly what it does. I looked at some YouTube videos and did not see a difference than what I had. I was more interested in in the pro version but there is no try version. Will the standard version give me an idea if this will help or not with this addon?
One small thing that wouldnāt really be a problem now: āAuto minimizeā no longer works for me ā¦
I did test v2.0.1 with Fenix A320 today and the issue is indeed fixed as promised. Thank you very much!
Yes, same hereā¦.Auto minimize is not working..
We will release a hotfix later today for the auto-minimize bug. Cheers.
Did anyone else find that after installing version 2.0.2, it still reports the version as 2.0.1?
FSRealistic Pro v2.0.2.exe

Thatās odd. Iāll try to install it again. If it fails again I will uninstall it first, then re-install.
The trial version download button is actually placed very prominently on their page
p.s. I like the addon, but almost 35⬠is too expensive for my taste.
Cost is of course relative to your budget, and also what else you may have to miss out on buying if you do buy this instead.
However one thing to bear in mind is that unlike an aircraft addon which you will fly a lot initially but eventually park in favour of new shiny purchases, this addon potentially will get used every flight into the foreseeable future.
The price at Just Flight is £21.99 I believe. Might be worth looking here maybe. (£21.99 is possibly about 25.6 euro today ignoring any potential transactions/conversions costs??)
I was fortunate in that I bought the core version for £12.99 and upgraded for £6. After Just Flight discounts of about £3 I only ended up paying about £16 in the end.
For me it was worth the price I paid especially since the dev. seems fairly keen at the moment to improve it further ![]()
It looks like the mega.nz download that I got was packaged incorrectly, labelled as 2.0.2 on the outside, but the packaged binary was 2.0.1. Hereās how I found out.
I used the feature that I think ā7-Zipā adds to the right-click menu, to show several different hash calculations.
First off, here is the installer itself.
Name: FSRealistic Pro v2.0.2.exe
Size: 804679160 bytes (767 MiB)
CRC32: B8138B0C
CRC64: 4F7E5A839E353F3D

Now for the installed binary that purports to be 2.0.2:
Name: FSRealistic.exe
Size: 1147392 bytes (1120 KiB)
CRC32: 8190FAA5

I just download a fresh copy from Simmarket:
Name: FSRealistic_Pro_v2.0.2.exe

Itās different. My suspicion is someone must have uploaded the wrong binary, labelled as 2.0.2 but actually not inside.
The version I downloaded first was from a link an email, which I wonāt post here for obvious reasons.
This then took me to another page. Not sure if I am allowed to post that particular link, but it looks generic.
That Download link then takes me to a āmega.nzā page, with another download link, where the install is actually wrapped in a ZIP file, āFSRealistic Pro v2.0.2.zipā. Letās download that again in case it got updated in the mean timeā¦
Yes, the Mega.NZ downloaded ZIP now has an installer inside whose hash now matches the download from Simmarket.
I guess the wrong binary was briefly advertised on Mega.NZ, and I happened to download that version before it was replaced.
Letās see if it actually worksā¦yes!
I may try it to see how it works and leave it at that
I think that there is a time restricted trial/demo on the devs. website so you can try it before you spend any money ![]()
With certain addon aircraft the Airframe feature(bad static sound on takeoff) and Turbulence feature(loud wind rumble while plane isnāt even running and parked as if its an incoming tornado) sounds can get pretty buggy while sitting on the tarmac and takeoff.
Iāve noticed an odd issue, that I can only attribute to FSRPro.
When I start a flight in the Cessna 414, my eye point has the bottom of the screen just showing the bottom of the two 750ās. I can also see a sliver of the aircraft nose.
By the end of the flight my eye point has dropped so that I can no longer see the nose, and I can now see an extra inch or two of the cockpit panel below the 750, as well as the hole the yoke shaft goes through.
On another flight it went the other way, and the eye point had gone up so it was like I was looking down on the nose.
My yoke hat switch letās me look around the cockpit, and pressing it in resets my position. Even using this it doesnāt actually reset the eye point, neither does closing, and/or relaunching FSR Pro.
My assumption is this is some kind of cumulative error with the camera shake mechanic.
Tomorrow I will try to remember to take a shot at the start of a flight, and at the end for comparison purposes.
EDIT: Looks like this has been fixed already in 2.03. ![]()
Iāve been using it extensively - after the trial ran out I bought it immediately. If I ever forget to start it, I always restart the flight with it back on, itās that good, especially in VR.
With the new version, I notice that the cabin chatter fades out after landing (as if the passengers deplane). Nice touch. I think some of the sounds should have a random option (like wind) but thatās minor.
Couldnāt agree more. I was hooked and purchased it after the trial period. Another touch of realism that I couldnāt see myself flying without these days.
I love FS Realistic and notice immediately if I fly without it. One quick question⦠Is there a way to possibly have separate landing soundsā¦one for asphalt and one for grass? I know i can pick but not have both at the same time. Itās probably not realistic hearing a tire squeal sound when landing on a grass strip.
