For me the problem is still 100%. I have tried “repairing” and then “resetting” the app, both unsuccessful. I suppose a re-installation would be next, but I’m reluctant due to the problems with the original installation a few days after the FS2024 release.
I did not realize the “ESC Quit to Desktop” appeared on the screen with the Accessibility and Start buttons, so the problem is really that my Start button is missing. That gives me another avenue to explore.
Glad that it worked at the end applying the “CloudSaves” deletion solution.
I am going to move back the topic to the User Support Hub since it is not a spread issue and a bug report already exists.
My problem started after I’d spent a long time setting up my controller, so I suspect this somehow corrupted a config file somewhere. As I said above, the only way I could solve it in the end was to delete the “CloudSaves” as described in the link in the “solution” post, which meant I had to redo all my controller setting. This time though these settings were apparently saved correctly.
Could this have been the cause of you getting the issue as well? If so, there could well be a bug hiding in the settings routines which Asobo must be made aware of.
[EDIT: I should have added the problem has not occurred again since I did the above deletion.]

Here is the tip list from xbox support
points 2 and 3 fixed it for me
Step 1: Make sure you are signed in with the same account or are signed in the same way on the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app and also check the letters, numbers and characters of both emails if they match.
Step 2: Try signing out of the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app and try signing in again on both applications to check if the error persists.
Step 3: Run wsreset command on your PC
Search for “wsreset” on your PC
A black window will appear, don’t close it, just leave it alone. Your Microsoft Store app will open for reset.
Try to reinstall the game and check again after the Microsoft Store app appears.
Step 4: Try resetting and repairing the Xbox app.
Go to Start menu > Click on Settings.
Click Apps > Apps & Features.
Find the Xbox app and select Advanced options.
Scroll down. There you can see that you can also reset and repair the app.
Step 5: Try checking for updates for the Xbox app from the Microsoft Store app.
Step 6: Try uninstalling Gaming Services. To do this, follow these steps:
Press the Start button on the taskbar, type PowerShell, right-click Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:
