"Start" button sometimes doesn't appear after loading is complete

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
After loading is complete you normally are presented with a “Start” button/tile that you have to press to get into the main menu.

Sometimes when loading is complete, that button doesn’t appear and you have to quit and restart.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

It only occurs intermittently. For me it has happened twice out of about 10 loads at a guess.

Sames here… Have tried to load 3 separate fresh installs and now it’s doing the same thing… no way to start the sim. (for a few tries it worked for about 3-5 min and then crashed every flight)

I have the same thing. Just yet, when I launch a missile at ppl, the initial mission to fly over the airfield is launched

Same problem here. 99% of the time I only have the quit to desktop tab. Cannot enter the game. Any ideas to get into the game menu? Currently locked out because of this.

Same here. Was unable to start the sim for 3 consecutive days now. Neither any workaround found, seems not too many ppl experience this specific issue.

Have the same issue now.
Won’t go that way to delete my CloudSaves now … but who knows.
Tried now several times …

Same here. I’ve had it happen just a handful of times since MSFS 2024 was released. It just happened to me three times in a row, so I rebooted and it finally gave me a start button.

Still struggling with it out of nowwhere since this morning.
sometimes it works, most times not.
I do not see any replicable pattern.

Community folder empty.
XBOX logged out and in.
PC restart. (several times)
Time synched (was synched, but who knows)

Will now go the hard way to delete the CloudSaves

Deleting the CloudSaves helped, see link some topics above.

Settings and Asignments will get lost.
Career is saved.

I suspect either you had a different bug, or it just is a coicidence that it helped.
I say this because the problem I reported is that SOMETIMES the Start button isn’t there. It’s low occurence, therefore there is really no way I could have corrupt data. That would cause the issue to occur every single time.

Certainly good to know, especially if someone does have this occuring every time rather than every now and then. For me though when it happens I just hace to quit to desktop and re-run it and it has always been fine the next time.

I even can’t imagine what provokes such a bad bug …

In my case it was 50 / 50 working or not.
I even started the sim several times in a row with changing nothing and sometimes it has worked, soemtimes not.

Now it is fixed … hopefully forever

Same issue, nearly every second launch of the sim. Kill it, start it again and then it works…

I agree it seems to be happening more often. It took 3 retries before I could start 2024 today!

it just started for me today, have not had it before. Its one thing after another with MSFS…

Why is nobody at Asobo is taking care about things like this? I don’t get it. Loading sticks mostly at 56 percent or it loads and then there is no start button! It’s so frustrating!! Not able to even start the game it such a shame!
