  • GSX (all versions) NEW:Multiple Custom Operators can now be assigned to each parking, removing the need to use airline codes.

  • GSX Pro NEW: Added VGDS T1-42 on high supports variants, to be better visible from Heavy airplanes when placed close to the point of view.

  • GSX (all versions) Change: Fuel truck approaches the airplane closer to wingtip, to reduce conflicts with static scenery objects.

  • GSX (all versions) Fix: If more than one Operator with alternate liveries is allowed on an airport, the operator menu will show all of them as a choice, instead of choosing one at random.

  • GSX (all versions) Change: Custom parking brakes message always including ā€œParking Brakesā€ in addition to other constraints like Wheel Chocks, to make it more clear what GSX is waiting for.

  • GSX (all versions) NEW: Added FSDT_GSX_BYPASS_PIN LVariable for 3rd parties, to check the exact moment the Bypass Pin is Attached (value = 1) or Removed (value = 0)

Apparently not needed anymore, but thanks anyway!

How can I turn off the digital distance display at the parking spot after arriving at the destination terminal with GSX? Thanks

Thank you for speedy update.

Please don’t do that. Or provide us with an option to disable automatic door handling.

Follow-up reply for anyone wondering what happened next, was able to ā€œsolveā€ it. Issue was with the parking space (being too small). After enabling ā€œignore wingspan when parkingā€ under the settings menu, it worked as expected. User error thus

I am still having the problem that the passengers refuse to board the plane. They are walking up to the stairs and as soon as they touch the stairs, they go flying up straight into the air. After a while they reappear queuing up a few feet away from the entrance.

It does happen a lot with the CRJ and now with the ATR, sometimes also with the 737s. And I’ve had this issue with or without an airport profile, for example with the ATR standing in NZRO (I tried with and without a flightsim profile). And yes, I am using the latest GSX version.

I have same issue at some gates with CRJ. Using GSX to reposition aircraft at same gate helps sometimes I think.

Good idea. I will try this out next time.

The pax path has to end in the latest non-movable part of the jetway (fixed structure), after that they will continue to the aircraft door automatically. Check if that solves the issue.

@Umberto67 - does payware Paris Orly have problems with the gates? Most don’t move and when I did a boarding and deboarding, front door of Fenix opens but no passengers can be seen. All other functions including baggage loading and unloading work perfectly though. I am guessing it is the scenery that is not working here - can you please confirm as well that this may be the likely problem?

Yes, it’s a known problem: both Paris airports Jetways are affected by the Asobo Voloport airport that is nearby, so it must be disabled from the Content Manager.

For Paris Orly, you can use the ATC menu to connect the jetway and then use GSX to board as normal.

Hello All

I have downloaded GSX profiles for the ATR (both 46 and 72) but in most cases (if not always tbh) no crew or passengers are loading in. What happens is that the crew walks to the back door and just before entering the plane they shoot up in the air. And that’s it. Passengers never arrive - they must have been seeing this from the gate lol.

Any ideas what I’m getting wrong here? I use GSX Pro often and know how it works btw.

Hello, I have the same problem with passengers being thrown into the air, does anyone know the solution?

Hello,
I have the same problem

There is no need to download custom GSX profiles for the ATR’s anymore. They’re supported internally now. I have no such problem with internal profiles.

Oh - OK - I see - will try then! Thanks!

Working  thanks again mate!
