I was very impressed with ENGM Oslo by Orbx for the most part. You could see the passengers inside the terminal walking into the glass jetway and even walking perfectly downhill on the jetway slope. That’s what the combination of a quality airport with interiors, GSX, and a quality GSX profile can bring. Then I asked for pushback, and the only custom option was “straight back Code C”, which doesn’t quite take you far enough back, requiring you to make a illegal turn to get back on the taxiway. And right there, at this one airport, was the best & worst of GSX.
Why has this problem still not been solved? With each pushback, when the truck connects and disconnects, the aircraft (PMDG 737) makes a high jump.
Is i use PMDG pushback, no problem, all is smooth.
I do not understand that such an action (one of the most important with GSX) does not work properly as long after its release.
Another problem, When I am in “gate configuration” mode with Gsx, the front wheel of the 737 sinks into the ground little by little and after 2 minutes, the cockpit is on the ground…
Do you have Toolbar Pushback installed or any other pushback utilities installed? I had the same problem until I removed Toolbar Pushback. Since removing, I have not had this problem again.
Hello, thank you for your answer. No, I don’t have another addon installed, only Gsx.
For me all is smooth, also with 737 and all others
Have you tried to disable the tug lifting inside GSX settings? I have mine disabled. I asked Umberto about this problem on the FSDT forums and he said that it was due to an addon or a specific airport elevation issue. This is what lead me to find that Toolbar Pushback was the issue in my case.
I’m going to look at my options on my way home.
I love gsx,I don’t need profiles,I custom plan every pushback,I’m working on a Cessna 208 profile
Version 2.6.7 – July 29th, 2023
-
GSX (all versions) NEW: Added two extra sliders to setup an optional Delay from 0 to 30 minutes before Crew and Passenger Boarding. The delay can be skipped at any time from the GSX menu, if needed. The menu will also show the time left before the next boarding step.
-
GSX (all versions) NEW: Added option to control how Stairs will behave. The checkmark has 3 positions: Automatic, which is like previous versions, Semi-Automatic, which means GSX will Attach stairs automatically, but will leave the user in charge with detaching, and Manual, which means GSX will never operate the Stairs on its own, it will be completely user-controlled, with the “Operate Stairs” command.

Since the last update boarding and deboarding doesn’t work for me correctly, when using the Fenix anymore. I connect the jetway and GSX will only load/unload the baggage. Usually after a few seconds the option whether to board crew+pax or only pax shows up. Now it only says boarding/deboarding requested and nothing happens. Didn’t try with other planes yet. Anyone else?
Nevermind: When the new setting for the stairs is set to fully manual, it seems to conflict with boarding via jetway. Setting it to semi-automatic solved the issue.

Curious, how many people use the follow me stuff after landing? I wish there was an option to disable this as I never use it, and it’s one more menu pop-up to click through, while taxing into a gate.
I use the follow me on some big airports I am not familiar with, e.g. large North American hubs. While far from perfect, it is still better than navigating by myself to the gate…
Yes, I have Navigraph subscription, but one of the last SU has made the VR panels (such as Navigraph) so difficult to read, that I cannot see the taxiway labels in the map while in VR.
I just bought the add on today. Every time I have it installed, MSFS will not open. Has anyone had this issue, and know how to fix it?
Version 2.7.0 – August 13rd, 2023

I do, and it is actually the mean reason for me to purchase GSX.
Zappa fan ?
It is definitely useful, especially at large unfamiliar airports, and exists for the same reasons as in real life.
The only issue I have with it in GSX is that it appears to have no connection with ATC routing instructions and just does its own thing, which is very apparent if you turn on the MSFS taxi ribbon feature. Apart from being inconsistent with the sim it also means you cannot reliably hand over taxiing to the AI co-pilot for a period of time should you wish to.
Hi everyone,
while I’m awaiting “Admin approval” over at the FSDT forum, maybe someone can tell me in the meantime why quite obviously there are jetways at this airport but GSX believes there aren’t and AI traffic gets jetway connctions and I don’t? What am I doing wrong?
Many thanks
You likely forgot to Disable GSX Replacement Jetways for an addon airport, which you are always supposed to do, as explained on the GSX Manual, Page 7
