FSLiveTraffic Liveries (FSLTL) - New Trailer and Status Update

You should contact them. They have provided an email for freeware developers in their 3rd Q&A if I’m not mistaken. They are already working with quite a few of them so you should give it a shot.

Hm. Thank you, I’ll look into it.

I’ve created a topic under wishlist to get Asobo to support this project. Please give it a vote:

Thank you!

Sounds like installation will be less than straightforward.

As i can see wheels/tires is static and not rotating. It’s planed to correct this?

Depends on the original model. You can see in the trailer some of them have wheels animated, some don’t. Fixing this isn’t a priority right now - there are more important tasks to do. After the full release we will focus on the cosmetic features like this.

You r using MDL files or convert it to GLTF?

While it would be nice, MS nor Asobo could officially support this , just as they couldn’t officially support AIG. Do you think AIG or FSLTL has the rights/licensing from the Airlines themselves to use their brands? I doubt it very much.

This is something that MS and Asobo have to stay out of to keep from being held liable legally. They work towards getting their own licensing/permissions from the airlines for their own aircraft liveries to stay legal but will not put their name behind ones that airlines don’t license or provide them with.

I have to say I’m extremely excited about this project. Firstly, thank you to everyone working on this, I’m aware how demanding it is.

When I used FLAi’s aircraft library with RealTraffic/PSXseecon in P3D, I added special liveries to certain airline fleets and I also updated the Cfg ai information for the aircraft in question so that the ai injection system (psxseecon) will assign the specific livery to the registration of the actual aircraft into the sim.

Will FSLive traffic have this feature? I understand there’s lots of work to do, but will it be something we the users can do ourselves or is it something that will be done on each update? Perhaps, even with the help of users who have added special liveries for each registration and then shares with the community?

I hope you understand what I’m saying.

Kind regards

Will this addon fix the disappearing of ground traffic? I think you guys should come up with your own flight plans and not rely on the live traffic (or at least have option for offline traffic) since with asobo live traffic the planes disappear after landing and appear right at take off making ground traffic very minimal and unrealistic

That would be a great upgrade

We’re working in close contact with Psxseecon author, so he’s testing it on our closed alpha right now. It will be compatible.

With Asobo’s live AI special liveries are possible in case sim provides the tail number. It does so with privately registered aircraft, but unfortunately substitutes it with flight number in case of commercial flight. However,
A) This can change without our intervention
B) I’ll try to reach Asobo, as we know it’s an existing feature that just have to be turned on.

Of course FSLTL will be open for everyone, so special (and not) liveries can be made by community.

Will this be open-source on github after release? Or does that depend on the wishes of AIG/FLAi?

I hope this can be released asap and updated later. It’s painful to fly around as is, looking at the generic models and all.

I think that it is certainly true that some music or any art does not fit some presentations. I do not think that is the case here. Music such as this moves in complex ways that what I imagine you are accustomed to listening to can’t even compare to.

There is much to appreciate about most forms of music whether it be hip hop, African war dances or classical European symphonies. One doesn’t have to like to appreciate. I am not fond of much of Indian or Asian music. But I absolutely can appreciate it’s existence and admire the talent of the people who make it happen.

Try this. Consider the complexities and going’s on of a busy airport. Then apply what you are hearing to the dance of the aircraft, ground vehicles and people you are envisioning. So many movements in so many directions but all moving together in different manners.

Wow!

you really think we needed that post? lol

You can listen to any music you want when you play. Watch episodes of Friends if you want too

Hello, just before buyng MSFS, i had a billion of updated liveries on my prepar3dv5 ai traffic. Suddenly, after testing the MSFS, i have decided not to turn back to P3DV5 . So, what could i do with all that liveries? they are all in dds, and of cuorse, with the number registrations for psx seecontraffic. so, if you ever need them, im here to help! im not a developer but i love to update liveries!
thanks for al the things that sofiegrozovsky and team is doing!!

They don‘t the licenses since it‘s freeware

They don‘t need the licenses

You won’t do anything with those liveries as they are not yours to share.

As the author of undoubtedly hundreds of paints in your P3Dv5 library, I’m wholly against the sharing of my paints freely.

Freeware does not mean Do-as-you-please-with-ware.
