I’ve changed those as well now. Will get overwritten when MSFS is updated though.
The SMALL_PUSHBACK is what tells MSFS to show the smaller pushback vehicle for that airplane. My theory is that the animation gets broken and then no pushback ever occurs which causes the plane to sit and never taxi.
Yes, this will need to be changed after every update until a fix is made.
I found some ejets (as opposed to eejits🤣) in KSLC all the delta connection and united express liveries.
Only thing I notice is after adding them in every AI taxis with a slight stop/start. Perhaps it’s not the best/efficient of combinations. They do take off. They have particularly bright strobes too. I know the devs are working on Embraer models now, but these will work I think until an official release comes through at a later date.
Do you see judders/stop/starts when taxiing and taking off. It looks like frames trying to catch up or something. Was ok with just base fsltl models.
Yes I did notice while spotting at LPPT. I thought it was due to the Fenix hammering the main thread.
I was loaded in with the pmdg 737, but just parked at the gate. It’s quite likely these models causing it as fsltl on it’s own seemed fine. If i get fed up with these slight taxi/take off frame skips I may just reinstall the base package again and be patient for official fsltl ejets.
The dev just recommends using them in community folder and turning sim traffic back on in conjuction with fsltl, not sure how that works exactly having two injectors running at once. Duplicate traffic in sim? Fsltl certainly recommend turning all in game aircraft traffic to OFF.
Anyone bother to set CPU affinity when using simconnect programs? It’s an option on the launcher for AddonsLinker.
It probably doesn’t matter too much.
It’s working. I’m doing it with SimFlea’s GA package. The key point is to edit out the commercial AI from the layout.json file located in fs-base-ai-traffic. Then use the AI offline slider to adjust the amount of GA traffic.
I have a 12900KF. Using Process Lasso I put MSFS exclusively on the P-cores and FSLTL, other apps (Fenix etc) on the E-cores. That way they aren’t competing for the same CPU cycles. Works well.
I’m using add ons linker already and have just added in AIGround and AIFlow and FSLTL in as programs to launch on launch of FS. I didn’t know about setting them on specific cores so will give that a try. Thanks.
Most of the time I know it’s not good to mess with stuff and let the OS handle. But tuning this sim can sometimes be a different story.
The wait for simconnect option is great too!
V1.2.1 is out! via FBW Installer.
FSLTL Injector 1.2.1 Patch for update via the FBW Installer.
Changes
- Adds support for the payware Adventum Simulations AI E-jets
- Removes ability to set removal time at 30 seconds which causes aircraft to be removed before they can taxi. Those with 30 seconds set will be changed to 120 seconds.
Fixes- Improve static aircraft insertion with FSHud due to bug with unknown user altitude
- Fix user heading tracking to ensure correct function of aircraft removal with Fenix / PMDG
- Ensure manifest.json has correct 1.2.1 version for visibility in addons linker
Seeing that FSHud can fly the airplanes around more realistically gives me hope that tools like this may gain that functionality or we may see others.
Just us VFR fliers are a little left out at the moment.
I’m getting very bad stutters with FSLTL on. Currently at 5000ft in the King Air south of Washington D.C. Settings: IFR90 VFR10 parked 0 radius 50km.
I did two 30 second benchmarks. First one is with FSLTL off. Second one is with FSLTL on (I waited for about 1 minute after starting the injection). Look at the 1%, 0.2% and 0.1% lows with FSLTL.
Try with and without the E-Jets. I now have the E-jets in their own package in community with FSLTL v1.2.1 and panning around in drone mode seems to be giving me a few judders / dips like I reported earlier. Funny thing is FPS is fine (I lock at 30FPS) ,but those slight judders are there non the less when panning drone around.
EDIT: I just removed EJets and it removed judders / dips in performance when panning around in drone mode at KSLC with FSLTL running. I did a before / after (EJets) at the default MSFS KSLC for an apples for apples comparison. That’s too bad. Oh well, I guess I’m waiting for the official FSLTL ones to come out now.
Sounds like the E-Jets package would benefit from C0rsten’s texture reduction to 1024x1024.
You’re right, it’s the E-Jets. Without it the x% lows are much higher hence less stuttering. Glad we cleared that up! I’ll continue using the FSLTL injector without the E-Jets.
Yeah, average fps is not bad. It’s those low 1% fps that’s causing the stutters. This is without the E-Jets. The low fps is now at least 26 compared to 15 with the E-Jets in place.
Even after downsizing EJets models to 1024s the addon overall just causes stuttering issues with FSLTL, even if no E-Jet models are spawned.
WTH are EJets?
