Explain further, do you mean just the data turned on but the traffic still turned off? If you’re combining the injector being on as well as the MSFS traffic, you’re just going to get double flights.
What do you mean with white aircraft? I had the same issue and found out there are some all white liveries for example for eurowings (aig models) when I was at dusseldorf airport this summer I even saw them standing there thats why I just left them in sim
I’m not understanding why he’s saying inject FSLTL and turn on MSFS real traffic, it’s not making sense.
Simconnect Traffic issues now listed on Known Issues on zendesk
LIVE TRAFFIC
- Issue with SimConnect traffic not following assigned flight plan and having unpredictable behavior
No what he is saying does work
You set all traffic on in sim but slider set to 0
The ground traffic set to 0
The sim is now using the AI from FSLTL/AIG but because the sim is operating the AI functionality the planes land haven’t seen any take offs yet apart from regional Asobo generic but I left them in for variationbut had two Ryanair land at EGSS and 99% are European airlines, I only have one American Airlines at gate and one white A320
Not bothered about the white plane but if I can get rid of this AAL in model matching I think it works
Edit: got rid of all generic aircraft now, so no issues with model matching , aircraft are taking off and had a landing
Two aircraft en route to land , looks promising
Arriving aircraft are descending but I think you need to tweak injection radius to 80kmh
You won’t get a plethora of landings but FSLTL is using the sim AI logic to direct the planes arriving to the correct IFR plan, maybe a bigger airports this will improve but I have had two additional landings with correct liveries
Need to test more but looks promising
Edit 2: the aircraft approach the IFR but go into a holding pattern to reduce altitude before the line up for final approach but they do land , just watching a Turkish 737 on final now, which landed and a Ryanair coming in too, have air Malta and Pegasus holding short
How to turn off the generic ai traffic with the real time online setting? The ingame setting for no generics is apparently not enough. What else is to do?
Scroll back up a few pages on this thread people were actively discussing this yesterday or the day before I think.
Does this really fix real time traffic without generics?
Not sure yet still testing
Anyway you have to set in sim traffic to zero but have the real time online enabled , then just inject FSLTL
The good thing is though that take offs are not as mad , or you don’t get 10 airplanes wanting to take off all at once although you can tweak settings, you get smoke on landing, flaps etc, great sounds etc
Personally going back to your answer I’m not sure if it matches fr24 but I’m not too bothered
All liveries are realistic for EGSS too
So do I have to use the fstlt injector and set the ai to 0? Then use the real time ai combined with it and it will load it through the injector? Just reread your comment so I set the sim traffic to 0 and then use real time and then inject through the injector. Sorry it is all a bit confusing haha.
Yes that’s correct , in sim settings are as follows
Go to traffic , set real time online in sim , then set aircraft in air to zero , finally set ground traffic to zero , leave go to a gate and it should be an empty airport , then inject FSLTL in the normal way and voila, don’t forget to get rid of all generic aircraft in the official , msfs folders
details a few threads above
Awesome thank you. I am about to give it a try.
Would this setup work with the Offline GA addon too? How about AIGround and AIFlow?
I don’t use ai flow, but use ai ground with it
Hey , don’t thank me , thank the poster who mentioned merging the two to work together further up ![]()

I can’t seem to change the real time online ai traffic it is blanked out although it is set to 0 but traffic still shows up. Any idea how to change that?
Aha, you have to go ai offline, then the slider is visible , slide it to zero, the turn real world settings on and it will stay at zero
When I set “Aircraft Traffic Type” to “Real-Time Online”, the slider for “AI Aircraft Traffic Density” is greyed out and cannot be changed to 0.
“Ground Aircraft Density” is set to 0.
“AI Aircraft Density” is only available for “AI Offline” where you can adjust how many traffic from pre-generated flighplans shall spawn. But for “Real-Time Online” there is no such option in the sim. So it is either all or nothing.
And with in Sim “Real-Time Online” AND FSLTL injector flighta from 2 sources get injected, ending up with flights being shown twice.
So what am I missing, as your instructions to set up the sim are simply not possible…
But it will still be greyed out, hence ignored.
You simply activate in Sim online traffic and put FSLTL on top.
This way you only increase the number of flights by injecting real world traffic twice…
And you have to live with MSFS’ more than ■■■■ podel matching.
LOWW is full of regional aircraft from asia, america, africa..
So basically you get the advantages from both iniectors together with the disadvantages of both…
I cut and paste the trafficaircraft.bgl file to a backup folder. I think you have to do this for the traffic to not show up. The file is located in fs-base-ai-traffic folder located under Microsoft Flight Simulator/Official (I am using the steam version). Deleting that file didn’t actually stop the traffic from generating at least real-time.
See my post above, once you set into ai offline you can change it then
Once done change to ai real time it will stay at zero
