FSLTL - FS Live Traffic Liveries is live!

Is it me but is there way too many traffic alerts? I’m doing a flight from KMCO-KATL and it’s just constant traffic alerts. Makes me want to turn off ATC.

In FSLTL you do get the odd plane landing , you get more using AIG but still low
I’m going to try the msfs online and change the cfg files in generic and test that

Hi

I tried changing isairtraffic=0 but that (for me) allowed the generics to show up. I change the ICAO Generic = 0 then the generic dont show up.

Not sure why there is a difference, but whatever works!

Yes i did the same looks pretty good , I kept the private jets to add a bit of variation but it works, getting take offs and landings fine

Only issues are , it’s more of a frame rate hit if you overdo it with traffic but that can be adjusted due to your mileage
Also , most airliners are local but I have a couple of air Asia A320s at KSAN but I can live with that
Not sure what I will be like in flight but sightseeing at the airport is good

Another thing just had an Alaska 737 land , smoke from tyres and spoilers up, flaps etc
Actually looks like a good workaround

Well done the person who mentioned this originally

Look at TRA5314. Why is MSFS 2020 online AI creating more than one container for the same aircraft?

Depending on what aircraft you are in you can turn down the volume control for VHF1/com1 channel Did this on the A310 and ATC became way more bearable volume wise.

I have the steam version. Where do i find these files? I looked in a few Asobo aircraft.cfg files but do not see anything ICAO Generic. Help!

Update: found them.

So far so good. I set all the generic to off. Currently in a holding pattern over LAX using default live traffic. No generics in sight.

As you can see airport is jam packed full, so bit of a fps hit to put it mildly

Oh btw this is my first flight since SU11 went live. And the first thing I do is to go AI traffic spotting at a major hub :man_facepalming: It’s an obsession… I really should go fly a glider or the Spruce Goose or something.

Well the problem isn’t volume, it’s the injector. It keeps having aircraft in the air too close together which brings on the traffic alerts, not for me so much, but for other aircraft. Is it possible to use these FSLTL aircraft for use using the MSFS real world online traffic? I tried it but seems I get a lot of those ugly generic aircraft even though I have generic turned off. Just curious. The FSLTL aircraft is a lower FPS hit than the ones MSFS uses.

Impressive, however just at gate EGSS I have a frontier and American Airlines parked up alongside a Ryanair so not perfect, I would not use this for flying in Europe as it will kill the immersion

Read a few posts above about how to edit the generic ones out with their config files.

Just look a few threads up, you need to change the default generic ones in the official folder, it’s pretty easy
The thing is it gets rid of the awful generic traffic and replaces with AIG/FSLTL models but the downside is it tries but doesn’t put the correct liveries to location
So at EGSS I get a United regional jet and a frontier plane alongside Iberia , Ryanair so if you don’t mind that then it’s ok
Personally I was just tinkering I would not use this for a flight, although I did find in USA it’s matches models 90% but in Europe it’s a lottery

Still a lot better than having the generics. What do you use instead since you mentioned you won’t use this in Europe?

Btw I’m getting a few arrivals into LAX using FSLTL injector. A Japan heavy and a Philippines heavy among others. And a United just now. East configuration in use. Perhaps the STARS are aligned

EDIT: Both the United and the Philippine landed  And vacated quickly thanks to AIGround. And now there’s an Air Mexico on approach too!

EDIT2: And I’m getting offline GA using the latest version of Simflea’s. Offline GA Traffic - New v6.0 Release - Bug fix and new optimised flightplans - #45 by GBTAW

I would use FSLTL, for the contrails and in the PMDG I believe they show up in tcas
Or Just AIG as I know they definitely do
The irony is at least you won’t be stuck behind an aircraft just landed and be told to go around :joy:

Did you change all the IsAirTraffic (s) ? There are multiple in one aircraft.cfg. (just replace all in notepad)

i changed just the ICAO, not the IsAir and that appears to do the same thing for me at least!
To be honest I had not realised there are multiple instances of IsAirTraffic in each file.

Well this is a first. Aircraft calling for pushback and ATC saying no tug is available even though vehicle density is set to 5. Bumped it up to 50. Aircraft then asked for taxi.

Does anyone else experience this issue: Lately it’s been occurring with me.

I’ll use the injector, IFR set to 80. 80km radius. Static aircraft 0

When I am at my departure Airport the gates have other planes in them and they all end up pushing back, taxing and taking off as normal. Very active.

When I get to my arrival I’ll have airplanes at the gates but maybe one will eventually taxi and take off. I’ll sit for a good 15-20 minutes and rarely any of them pushback. Tonight it was at KLAS around 10pm.

I did not have this issue before but it seems like it’s been happening more and more. Anyone else?

After testing for a while, i finally use the following setting and looks better as real traffic :
1.FSLTS correcttly installed and injected.
2.AIG oci drop in to community fold (have to converted .json file first !)
3.In msfs traffic setting , u must turn on the real time traffic ! Doing this will make all the Aig ai show up and u can get lots of incoming traffics !!! But u will surely got some white aircraft ,inevitable
no matter how u set in FSLTL !!!
