GAIST Global AI Ship Traffic V6 and Great Lakes

Near Genova (Italy), about 5km west from LIMJ airport. Is it possible any kind of conflict with custom sceneries?

Thanks - I don’t think it has anything to do with other scenery. I think it is a simple mistake in a sim entry, so the model does not appear. I will find it. ;D

Or maybe I already corrected it as I have had many ship package versions since the once which is publicly available was launched in Dec 22.

appreciate your work, anyway i don’t know if there is alredy, but what about some sounds? Like engine and water “splash” (is it correct? ahahaha), maybe something not too heavy in terms of resources and complexity, and pretty standard like 3 default sounds for ship’s type (ex. Heavy ship, medium ship and small boats sounds)

Hi @hnielsen791 , just did a quick test with the new routes file, by spawning in Barcelona and taking a ride with the drone cam.
Found easily 7 - 8 ships, several of them moving and with wake

Thanks for your great contribution to the sim(ulated) world!

Love the passenger standing up in the hot tub heh

The Volvo Ocean Race group off Block Island, you don’t look too closely you’d think it was a real life aerial shot.

tried clicking on the link to update the new routes. for some reason it won’t allow access. how were you able to update if you dont mind me asking?

for some reason the link to the updated routes isn’t working

Same problem. Seems to be an issue with one drive and microsofts servers, big surprise. I can’t even log in to access the download.

Confirming, tried to download the updated routes and the Onedrive link isn’t working for me.

Henrik, will 4.1 will still be predefined routes vs live traffic?

Any idea if you’ll be able to hook your ships into MSFS 2024’s live traffic?

Hi,
I get this error when trying to download new gaist-ship-routes.zip.
Prior to this message there was another message which said something on the line of
“Too many attempts

The request is blocked.

Same here. Unable to download new routes

I have updated the link. However, it will only be available until tomorrow. Hope to launch this week officially if nobody finds problems with the new way to pack the routes. Please give feedback if you see upstart problems. And also if you don’t  Especially if you previously had issues it is interesting to know if it works better now.

I have to check again to see if I was taking a big performance hit. (Arc770 16GB GPU, i7 12th Gen, 64GB RAM). Yesterday was hit or miss off the LA coastline, but I know the PG in that area can cause lots of issues separately.

When the new package comes out I think we have the majority of the larger ferries in the US and Canada included. And that together with European and also some Asian ferries.

These two were purchased along with some others with the money donated to the project.

@AnkH828072 The start of the 2022-23 version of the Ocean Race from Sable de Olonne is also included with the next generation of IMOCAs

It seems to work without troubles. I see much more traffic than earlier. :ok_hand:

I’ve had no issues with the new routes. :+1:
Previously, I had to use the individual route files.
