There is something definitely wrong in the KDFW area, I cleared my Rolling Cache and took off north to Oklahoma and CTD, while flying ATR 72. Funny thing is it happen in all my planes?
I noticed that also when I taxied to runway 13L at KDFW, I initially thought it was a problem with my system, but it turned out to be with KDFW, I checked 4 other airports but the problem doesn’t seem to be present in them. Here’s a screenshot from KDFW.
At KLAX.
I’m running the latest MSFS 2020 version 1.34.16.0 with the latest world updates. I hope they’ll fix this issue in the upcoming updates (SU 14 and WU 15)
When I saw this issue flying into KDFW today I thought I was in offline mode as I had an issue yesterday that took me offline. I checked and was online, so I went into Data and turned it off. When I did that and was offline the ground textures improved and everything was clear. I turned Data back on and things went back to being blurry.
I don’t think there is an issue anymore @JWharton.
Do you have all your data “ON” in your Data setup ?. Looks like if your photogrammetry was off vs sneaky74 screenshot.
Yes my data is turned on. I went to KDAL, payware airport and it looks fine as do other airports. Just seeing this at KDFW for now. Also I don’t use a cache. I’ve tried changing to the East US server but it looks the same as the server.
Here is a screenshot from KAFW Fort Worth Alliance. And one from KDAL. Going to do some more testing but it takes my system 9 minutes to get to the start page in MSFS ever since the last update.
With Bing Data OFF, resolution is better:
There is definitly an issue with KDFW and it is bug-logged. So you may want to continue the discussion in that thread:
I did some more reading on the web and found the the temporary solution. Apparently the issue is with the Asobo KDFW and the USA 3D Photogrammetry Cities update. Removing that update fixed the issue at KDFW. Here is a screenshot of KDFW after uninstalling the Cities update and restarting the sim.
Right, workaround was proposed here:
