Ground and LOD error on Spain next to Madrid (LEMD)

Brief description of the issue:

During approach to Madrid airport, i faced a large ground and LOD error on the ground area surrounding the Madrid (LEMD) airport. I tooked some printscreens of the bug. The pictures follow below.

Hi @Raptor74747962, can you please confirm if you are using any third party mods such as those which alter the terrain, water, seasons etc?

Please answer @ThomasRalph5791’s question. We have seen many reports that mods from Bijan Studios does this in Madrid.

I see exactly these spikes, and yes, I use Bijan‘s seasons…
Will deactivate them and report results tonite!

For every other user who has seen the spikes, deactivating Bijan has worked.
Still hoping for a response from @Raptor74747962.

I can confirm: After deactivating Bijan‘s Seasons I had no more spikes around LEMD!
I hope Bijan offers an update to his Serasons soon, because I love that add-on.

And btw: the city of Madrid looks absolutely stunning! Best photogrametry I‘ve seen so far!

Just today I wanted to do Bale to Madrid and couldn’t because of major spikes around Madrid. I even deleted the 3rd party Madrid Barajas but that didn’t solve it. I have an extension from Bijan but not the seasons one. I’m on Xbox. Any suggestions?

Hi there,
Other Bijan products have been reported to create the spikes, too. Try removing that, as well, and see if you still get spikes.

Thanks for the hint! For me it was the boats extension. Just deleted it and after 4 hours trying again and again I could perfectly land in Madrid. Unbelievable what a add-on can do an you wouldn’t notice may be a long time, till today for me!
The ( rhetorical) question: can I get the money back for a product that ruins the sim (in parts) and the problem was not detected only until 3 mths after the purchase?

I know your request was rhetorical, but you may try reaching out to Bijan at bijanstudiola@gmail.com or on his Discord server. Last I heard in the forums, Bijan was dealing with deaths in the family.

Do you have any Bijan Studios products installed? If so, try removing them and see if that fixes the problem.
