Is this being addressed at all? It’s horrendous still

I think this topic fits closest to what I saw. Flying 172 the side windows have reflections that look like snowballs hitting the ground. reflections are dots/circles of light flashing in a way a snowball would fall out of the plane and hit the ground… weird effect but total immersion killer. Reflections of this type light in the middle of the day makes no sense at all. It’s not glare. It felt like runway light or highway light reflecting in cockpit side glass/windows that don’t exist in game.
I still believe light reflections go right through the airframe and show reflections that are physically impossible. Either fix this or offer an option to turn it off until it’s figured out.

Could I ask one of the Community Managers to correct the title of this topic?

The bug desciption refers to the Windscreen, but in the title it is mispelt as Widescreen. This spelling error will obviously affect accuracy of the search engine, and is the reason I missed this topic when I first researched this bug.

Thanks!

I agree. The topic title is incorrect! Please fix it by the @moderators community manager.

The developer should allow the glass effect to be turned off in the settings. The solution would be very simple, provide an off function.

The strong shadows, reflections are catastrophic, ridiculous. What is perhaps most important, it damages the eyes of the users.

The community would be very grateful to the development team if they provided the option to turn it off. Thanks in advance!

Thanks all, I’ll make sure to update the title and see if there is an existing log for this issue.
