It’s a well documented issue that Asobo are aware of. It can’t be ‘tweaked out’. We all have to wait for it to be fixed some day.
All you can do is not fly at those times of day where the line is most visible.
Asobo talked about it in an older Dev Q&A. Seb said, they cant patch it out yet, but they will try to get rid of it with the weatherengine overhaul that will happen later on.
So, they are aware, and they want to get rid of it. But its not an easy thing to do right now.
I got the issue today with SU7. Haven’t noticed it before, but now it is very visible (maybe changed graphics settings after update).
Was always there and will stay till somewhen in 2022 when they will overhault the weatherengine, according to an older dev q&a.
It’s worse since SU7, this is in the Grand alpine bush trip
Zoomed in
It’s a whole bunch of lines now
Still confirm… recent find below (Hawaii)
Yes! In habe it!
I do still see it a little bit in places, but it’s about 75 % better since su8. At least more broken up. Still visible when zoomed though.
They know if it, but last I heard it was going to be a difficult one to unpick. My guess is it will get looked at when more serious issues are dealt with.
Yes, this was mentioned in a Q&A. Plus, it was said it’s nothing to be solved quickly en passant but will be done together with another rendering issue (which one escaped me).
Anyway, it’s still on their screen. In the Feedback Snapshot from 24th February (the last pulished one), it’s item #10 scheduled for 2022.
I am glad I found this. At first I thought I was just “seeing something” but the more I’ve played, the more I see it. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it would be nice to see this one buttoned up.
There are two times of day where it is most visible, during a short window of perhaps 10 minutes or so, if memory serves.
In that window it’s very obvious. Other times of the day you really have to be looking for it as it isn’t nearly as noticeable.
It’s possibly this, and the fact it has no impact on the flight simulation itself, that may have had an impact on how it has been triaged.
Still an issue after SU9. Just saw it again on the Norway Bush Trip…
Yes same here
problem remains after SU9
Like hobanagerik said it’s more visible during certain time of the day
