Yeah, I’m loving these aircraft.
Am I the only one who prefers the default -10? Just the handling and sounds at landings was enough to go back to -10. HS just glues to the ground on landing while in the -10, I can bring the nose gear down slowly a few seconds later for a more graceful landing.
Other than that, they feel and work exactly the same.
Same here, they are working on a fix, weird that they did a pre-release to youtube influeners yet not a single one reported the issue before release?
In my case she works fine, made several flight and had no problems at takeoff or landing
Working Title made changes in the newly released SU14 Beta to the 787-10 weight and balance loading and effects on the center of gravity. This was due to feedback from users on how the CG would be very different based on how you loaded the airplane, and this ultimately impacted how the plane would trim and how it felt, especially at rotation.
These changes will need to propagate to the Horizon 787-9 and those people who have been having issues will need to check again.
Thanks BigCow
Hi All,
Does anyone have a simbrief profile for 787-9?
thank you and appreciated.
Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 variant:
General Electric GEnx variant:
Thank you very much!
Pax numbers need an update. -9 can’t carry 338 passengers.
ANA the Japanese airline fits in a good 390 odd passengers in their domestic config…
Vs something like air NZs 220 premium long range New York config…
The capacity of not only the 787 of all varients but any aircraft can vary as far as wide… It all depends on the airlines config…
What they could do is cover the most amount of seats so guys can do domestic Japanese routes…
Or something like what you have on the pmdg and have just a range of configs…
For example…
High domestic capacity basically no cargo 400
High cap llc (air Europe) international 340 small amount cargo
High end long haul full service 290 average cargo
Long haul Medium (average) 240 capacity large cargo capacity
Ultra long haul premium class low capacity 200 low cargo
Apologies for being late to the game – just downloaded the 787-9 – I’m on SU14 beta, and can’t get my EFB/UFT tablet to work, i.e. none of the airport/runway info is pre-populated like it does in 787-10. Is this a known bug or something I’m not doing correctly?
You likely just need to load the simbrief flightplan into the FMC and set a departure runway first. The in the EFB performance page hit COPY FROM FMC. I get my airport and runway in the EFB that way no problem. The default -10 uses flightplan from world map? so may already have departure runway set and in EFB? dunno would need to go check.
Thanks for the response. I asked in Horizon’s discord and was told SU14 beta might be the issue. Are you on the beta?
No, still on SU13 here.
Any mods installed? Remove them.
I have no mods that deal directly with the FMC or displays installed, and it’s the only aircraft this happens with along with the Lnav not wanting to turn on. ![]()
Have you done a complete uninstall/reinstall of the 787? Have you removed some of the extra GNS43/530 mods from CM too (just in case)? I’d start wil a delete of 787-10 and then reinstall it from scratch.
Please check your community folder. I have seen only one other instance of this issue and it was a conflicting mod.
Thanks,
The MSFS Team
