I ended up downloading an add on manager and I’m using that for the add one. No issues with the fmc screens or lnav, thanks guys!
Does anyone know how to open the rear cargo door 787-9 in EFB has only front cargo door option?
I don’t think the rear cargo ever opens on the Asobo -10, so that is likely the problem. The 3D model only opens 3 doors - front & rear entries, and 1 forward cargo. I think Asobo should really revisit this.
I don’t know if the devs of the -9 can do much about this as I suspect it shares many resources from the default -10.
I’m sure I remember watching GSX loading the -10 rear cargo but with no open hatch. Not checked the -9 for this. Maybe it’s not enabled in the GSX aircraft file.
I’m finding the throttle wonky on approach–suddenly goes to climb power and I have to disconnect to regain control. Anyone else seeing this or am I doing something wrong?

When I try to use the “request route” function in the FMC in order to download a Simbrief flight plan, it prompts “No Simbrief login defined, use settings page to log in”.
Could anybody please tell me where that “settings page” can be found ?
Off the top of my head, on the FMC go to init ref page, then index, and I think on the index page it’s on the bottom to the right? Once in settings I think the Simbrief stuff is on the second page.

Hello, I have been flying the wonderful B-787-9 and I love that plane BUT what about the RR model ? The GE model the sound is wonderfull but the RR model the sound is very bad !!! Is there somethiong I forgot to load ?

So firstly I want to say thank you to the molders for making this. However I just installed the plane and have an issue with not being able to enter an airport into the EFB. I watched the tutorial video posted above, and In general I am familiar with how the EFB works as I have used in other planes such as the PMDG 747 and 777 in P3D, but for some reason I can’t figure out how to do it. Also, nothing seems to happen when I click the copy FMC data button in the EFB even though I had the PERF section of the FMC filled in along with my origin and destination airports. I can fill everything in the EFB manually but cannot figure out how to enter an airport.
Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

Just did my first flight in this plane, so chances are I am doing something wrong.
But how can I stop it from chasing the localizer? it keeps banking left and right and overshooting. I am doing 151 knots.

Did anyone have an issue with the landing gear? For me, right gear is always at down position.
Horizon has announced on their Discord that The 787-9 is now supported in MSFS2024.
This is NOT V2, just an update.
V1.2.2 is now available on ORBX and via the Headwind installer.
It should also be noted, that this release is similar to the CRJ in that it now works with both sims, but a native 2024 version will be released after V2.
It’s been a while hasn’t it? Over the last few months I’ve had a career change into cabin crew so everything else has been on the back burner. This week marks the first time I’ve been back into MSFS development in nearly four months - and safe to say, it’s been a productive return myself at HorizonSim. Today, we’re diving into the incredibly advanced world of MSFS2024. We’ve been getting questions almost daily about compatibility, and we’re happy to confirm as of now: compatibility and support is officially being provided. v1.2.2, of the B789 is now live on ORBX Central and the Headwind installer featuring:

- Fixed the speedbrakes on landing causing the aircraft to have some “Unexpected Results”
- Added HorizonSim System Modifications into MSFS2024
This update will only affect MSFS2024 users and MSFS2020 users don’t have to update, but it is recommended. Don’t forget to uninstall and reinstall from fresh! Don’t forget, if you’re using our B787-9 on MSFS2024 you need to install the MSFS2020 B787-10 via: Marketplace → My Library → Search for “787” → Click the “MSFS 2020 Premium” or “MSFS 2020 Premium Deluxe Upgrade” → Then Click Enable As for our MSFS2024 release plan - we’re taking a similar approach to others in the community. The aircraft will remain functional in both sims, with a native MSFS2024 version coming after V2. This approach helps us maintain the largest possible user base and makes life easier for the incredibly talented painters at Hues, who’ll only need to export liveries once. Speaking of V2 - if you missed it earlier, here’s a glimpse at the reworked tail and a small showcase of the countless hours DeathActual has poured into the 787s over the last two years. We know you’re excited for V2 - and with each day, we’re getting closer. That said, it’s still a little while away. We want to make sure we get it right the first time.

Just downloaded it and the textures on the wings keep showing the pink checkers for me. Anyone else experiencing this?
You have to use the MSFS2020 787-10. Go to Marketplace → My Library and search for the 787. Enable the 2020 version (it is in the MSFS 2020 Premium Deluxe dropdown). Enabling that will disable the 2024 version. Also are sure that you have installed the Horizon livery pack.

@SubtitledPine3 Its pink in FS2020 too. I have 787-10 installed, I uninstalled the -9 and reinstalled as per the developer’s instructions. Nothing new.
EDIT: Somehow my Premium Deluxe 787-10 uninstalled itself. I reinstalled and all is good! I don’t have the patience to try and figure out why it would do that, but at least I can fly now.
