Ahh thanks … good to know that I am not missing out by not being a “Junior Moderator” ![]()
So as a former TL3, let me say a few things here ![]()
To obtain the role, basically you need to be both active and have a good standing in the forums (i.e. no flagged posts, no warnings, etc.).
The activity part isn’t just about how much you post. Its what you post. For example, lets say that you constantly help members of this community, you are more likely to get TL3.
As a TL3 (as stated) you gain access to a category here on the forum and on the discord. These are basically just general chat rooms-we don’t gain any special role within the MSFS team or here stuff earlier.
The point is, be active and helpful and your chances of getting it may be higher. Its also important not to ask for it either-and that goes for a lot of things in life ![]()
Yeah, Ham, why did you get kicked out? It’s ok, you can tell me, I won’t say anything ![]()
I aren’t cool enough for this club! ![]()

Having no life helps… ![]()
well thats where I have gone wrong then. I learned the secret handshake and even the ultra secret phrase but I forgot to play in the sandbox.
So… wasnt it like you tried stealing the supersecretmagical goggles that Jorg normally wears during temple nights and then after being chased all around Freiburg they banned you from the order and revoked your wings?
Only thing I care about is more likes… ![]()
![]()
But I haven’t had an issue with running out of likes for a while to that end. But, man, that’s frustrating when you really, really want to like a post… and you can’t

Kinda weird that being nice is penalized…
lol
You have “musician” listed in your profile and everybody knows you can’t really trust a musician ![]()
sigh
As hard as I try, I have said “Ouch” a few times.
I think what would benefit MSFS users the most - and in turn improve MSFS the most - would be a community elected “representative” who would be empowered to question and even “constructively criticize” MSFS on behalf of users, and have an occaisional audience with management directly. Essentially, someone who has demonstrated fairness, dedication, and can understand and articulate concerns that may not be noticed by MS / Asobo on the forum, or that for whatever reason are avoided even though important to users.
I also could think of no better candidate than Mr NixonRedgrave (or someone similar).
This was brought of before in fact.
Ha … There you go. No probs. You have yet another like ![]()
You have even less need to be a ‘regular’ now ![]()
Interesting but a community ambassador would not need “insight into the internal workings” nor be “heavily NDA’d”, nor need access to internal tools. All that would be needed was recognition by management of the ambassador’s role and a few minutes now and then to just listen - either by a phone call, email, or private chat on this forum. Leave technology and access out of it - it’s human to human communication about issues, bypassing the filters and technology. Simple
Is this some sort of new technology I haven’t heard about? ![]()
Pretty hush hush I hear.
Something about 2 tin cans connected to a length of string which can apparently be used to conduct a conversation by 2 people in different locations. Amazing technology.
Sort of almost like…
…a Union
