Sadly nothing is working. Neither opentrack (it seems that it has no connection to 2024) nor David Backetts video (laggs as sh… and can’t look to the right)
A lot of people are giving work arounds for head tracking,my point is WE SHOULDN’T HAVE TO!!We paid for the sim and should expect things that worked in 2020 should work in 2024,but they don’t.My sound is broken, when I can hear something it sounds like its coming through water.I have abandoned it for now,but I’m not holding my breath for fixes to come anytime soon.maybe in 2026…
I have it working with the tobii gaming hub and udp in the top off opentrack, but i have it also working without the gaming hub and in opentrack tobii eyetracker in the first option, but then you have to adjust all the mappings. On youtube is a video about it. I will have a look if i can find it and come back if i found it.
Mark from Simhanger posted a new video on the latest Tobii update.
Not having reliable Tobii head tracking in 2024 is one of the things on my must fix list before repurchasing the new sim. Maybe that’s now off the list?
I’m not seeing the curve axis names in Hardware Settings. 7 axis’ but only 5 curve sliders.
They don’t slide but I can add numbers. I just uninstalled Tobii Game Hub expecting to have control in the app and duplicated the General Control profile.
I configured again with Tobii Game Hub, which requires game restart.
After getting it configured, the camera is now in the seat behind the pilot. SHFT-W (zoom) doesn’t help because when I disable tracking, the camera jumps forward to the dash next to the magnetic compass.
