That there is only a fraction of the numerous AddOns on the XBOX, because you are limited to the Marketplace… Given!
Also that it is apparently not quite uncomplicated for developers of AddOns to be admitted first in the Marketplace… Given!
Also that Microsoft/Asobo probably only in the next update a slightly different “pricing model” or also allows bundles of providers… Given!
But why, there is still no possibility to load new paint jobs for his favorite plane also on the XBOX. Yes… There are the paid (and some very good) bundles with paint jobs. And yes… Surely also Microsoft earn something on the MSFS. Still, I don’t understand why they can’t at least deviate a bit from the usual “business model” when it comes to paint jobs. I don’t officially speak for the developers, but based on public statements they have made I believe that the freeware category on the Marketplace is more of a personnel bottleneck issue than a technology issue. (As Jörg stated in a recent Developer Q&A, the payware is some people’s livelihood, and he did not want to hold up those approvals.)
With that said, I think it is something that they are working on. It’s listed as “Started” in the feedback snapshot (#32):
