1.08 didn’t fix the AP issues. Don’t waste your time until another patch is out. I had a chat with one of the developers on Discord. Probably a couple of weeks from a fix. Hope you guys/girls have other fighters to fly until then…
Well, the fun to fly a fighter jet is to not use the AP !

I don’t disagree, but I prefer planes to be fully functional in the event I’d like to use a feature like AP/ALT hold.

How’s the fly-by-wire implementation? I could never get this jet to hold trim. Waiting for that update.

I see a lot of references to the manual but I can’t find where it installed. Can someone tell me where to find it.
If you’re on PC and purchased from SM, it’s a separate download. There should be two files in the package.
are you sure? in orbx you can download it out of ac, but i think in both variants two pdf files there f:\MSFS2020\Community\indiafoxtecho-f35\SimObjects\Airplanes\IndiaFoxtEcho_F35A\docs\

F-35 XBOX UPDATE (BAD NEWS):
We have just received feedback from the latest XBox build of the F-35, and unfortunately it still crashes the console (except the F-35A on the XBox Series X apparently).
I think that, at this point, we can rule out the video memory limitations - as the latest F-35 build has a video memory footprint which is much smaller than all of our other aircraft.
We will try to get help from the Asobo development team and try to solve this issue.

I made little Mod for the F-35A in which I implemented a decent Fly By Wire Flight Control System -
Only F-35A supported at the moment
- added a decent FlyByWire Flight Control System
- added defaullt loading of the armament (only non-pacifist version)
- tweaked Flaps Behaviour & increased Flap Lift to make approaches & landings more comfortable - Flaps 2 stays fully extented below a certain speed, so approach and landings are more stabel and On Speed is easier to maintain.
- included a mod version which is compatible with Lord Frites F-35 Improvement Mod (credits to Lord Frites) - F-35 Improvement MOD » Microsoft Flight Simulator

Hi all, probably a bit of a noob question Just bought and installed the F35 and I get crackling sounds when using the afterburner. There is also a warning on the top left of the onboard display in the engine area. Any clue why this is happening? What am I doing wrong? On the F18, i just push the throttle forward for afterburners and no issue.
When I click on the warning (engine pop up), the thrust level is red and it looks like the afterburner is going on and off and on and off etc.
So this seems to only happen when I use my warthog hotas throttle. With the mouse all works well…
high, the all you wright it’s about one symptom - you use afterburner trigger for lightning. don’t do this. don’t because in the f-35 model afterburner modeled for use without any msfs settings for afterburner. if you will use afterburner for axis, for example that you use for rpm, in the f-35 model maximum prop position will set 100% throttle with afterburner, if you set afterburner axis to min, f-35 will use it’s own afterburner without problems. so that way in f-18 you set afterburner axis to max for use afterburner, and to min for not use afterburner. in the f-35 you set afterburner axis always at min, for prevent controls conflict. but this profile will broke pelican(futuristic stuff that can hovering/cruising and give some fun), and your hovering and cruise modes will toggling all time, if you have afterburner axis, because in pelican afterburner’s trigger used for toggling cruise/hovering, so for pelican you can create another profile with button or switcher to use afterburner. i don’t know thrusmuster warthog, so don’t know all it’s features, so i think you can know better than me, what to do. because now you know cause and my experience with playing around mapped afterburner in different msfs models.
