IndiaFoxtEcho F35 Lightning

For most this video you were way too slow for normal flight. Remember, the approach speed for normal landings in the F-35 is around 140 knots! Anything less and she doesn’t fly properly anymore, especially when you keep stalling her with hard maneuvers at way too low airspeeds.

Perform the most basic simple to follow with instructions test with your F-35, and I’ll try to mimic it and you tell me if it performs the same as yours did.

Like takeoff from an airport and state what your fuel is, temperature clear skies, what airport/runway, and just go full afterburner or mil power for takeoff. I’ll see if I get the same results.

Edit-Anyone who knows me knows I can fly the military jets in the canyon consistently. The F-35 is acting super weird with it’s flight model. This was the A variant but they all seem to be acting wonky. I did uninstall/re-install two times.
1:08 I let go of the stick, clear skies no wind and you can see the aircraft wobble.
2:41 mark just use the eyeball test, that’s not right.

I feel obligated to share. Sometimes people make mistakes, sometimes things go wrong, but it’s how you rectify it that can show one’s character.

Well, as previously mentioned I have observed some really weird stuff happening with four of the military jets, the F-35 being one of them. I reached out to IFE for support on this, and not comparing his customer service to other 3rd party MSFS customer service, but in my 40+ years of life experience, his customer service can compete with anyone’s.

I wasn’t even displeased with his product, but I do believe there’s something going on that is affecting multiple aircraft and after lots of communication, he was able to agree that with my particular flight model(not saying everyone is affected, it could be just me), but he noticed that on takeoff when I was leveled out, I was having to use the stick to keep it level and on FBW, that shouldn’t have been the case.

This guy went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer, to make me feel the issue no matter if no one else reported it, would be looked into with the same care of any issue.

It’s one thing to maintain a customer after something goes awry, but in the midst of me being frustrated with an ongoing issue, he seemed to make me want to buy another one of his aircraft because he proved to me he truly cares about his customers.

IFE, KUDOS for what you showed me.

Once my problem gets fixed, bet your bottom dollar you will be seeing me fly the F-35 even more than I was previously.

The wobbly tail is probably too strong for the FBW scalar parameter, but that’s the IFE adjustment part.
Hopefully they will adjust it.

I would like to share with the community a similar phenomenon that probably needs to be adjusted FBW.
I have already reported this matter to IFE.

F-35 A/B/C cannot roll more than 90 degrees to the ground when AoA exceeds 9 degrees, regardless of altitude.
The velocity conditions seem to be in sync with the green line on the AoA indicator, which in the verification is 0-300 IAS kt and can produce an AoA above 9 degrees, and appears to occur below that.

I am reporting this because in a scenario of simultaneous high AoA pitch and roll during a climb or horizontal turn, the roll could be ignored or recovered abruptly, causing unintended pilot behavior.

Attached is a video for your reference.

Reply to self.
The problem seems to be a combination of Asobo’s FBW code implementation and the F35’s flap deployment code at low speeds.
The IFE F35’s flap code will be improved in the next version.

Muchas Gracias!
F-35 udpated version makes the F-35 more fun than ever before! Looking forward to the fixes.

Now if I could just remember to turn on the landing lights. :sunglasses:

That’s fine! You are a military aircraft. Use the element of surprise!

Landing in the enemies base is a pretty brazen move! Maybe the stealth qualities will be slightly hampered at that range?

Too bad i have to stay with version 112, as simMarket stopped the downloads and i won’t install their “app”.

Which version is the latest atm?

IFE F-35 is currently 1.1.3 for PC and 1.1.4 for XBox

Addition.
1.1.5 has been submitted to the vendors and will be shipped after each vendor’s check

..which i cannot get because simmarket forces the customer now to install the app or not get the bought product. :rage:

oh well, stopped buying there.

Yup, same here…I reluctantly downloaded the app to update the F-35 but it’s pathetic, doesn’t work for me so I’m stuck on the old version till the end of time unfortunately

Wouldn’t hurt to send IFE an email outlying the problem you are having and asking if there is a solution.

I always thought the proper way to install an aircraft that got updated was to first uninstall the product(old version) and then re-install the updated one.

If this is not correct, I assume then perhaps I’m supposed to just manually delete it from my community folder?

Trying to do it what I thought was the proper way, I did not have an option to uninstall the old version-

So being that it did not give me the normal option to “uninstall”, if I try to install the updated one, I get this message-

Should I try to manually delete the old one and then install the new one? I just want to ask first as to not mess something up.

Just go to the community folder and click on the file and select “delete”

Then you can go to the app and click on “download”.

Thats what I did and it worked

Very strange…on mine it does it automatically in my Addons Linker copy of community folder..
