iniBuilds A350 coming in 2024

Will the engine spinner and fan animation be improved before release? In the preview videos it’s flickery and jumpy. The default Asobo 737 MAX, or even the FBW A380 (Trents!!!) have absolutely stunning engine animations.

Jumping in on this as I’ve seen it quite a lot; anything you’ve seen up until today is not indicative of the final version. We are aware of the “weird” fan animation and it’ll be fixed prior to release. This goes for anything else you may see up until release

For those of us in the western hemisphere who were asleep when this aired (and hopefully iniBuilds themselves uploads their stream as a VOD).

Looking to see if someone can summarize key points from that stream. It was mentioned, it will be under 80 EUR and having said that, it seems that will be in the range of PMDG777.

Did they specifically mention what features will utilize 2024 that arent available on 2020?

One I can remember right off-hand is the choice of using LIDO charts (from FS2024’s native flight planning tool) or Navigraph only (FS2020).

I watched the re-uploaded stream (I wa still sleeping when it was live) and I have to say, I don’t care for Airbuses in general, let alone in the sim, but this plane looks quite incredible. I worry very much about performance but we’ll see soon enough.

Here’s the official iniBuilds post:

The A350 is my favourite modern airplane. I can’t wait for this.

And don’t forget folks there are many real world 1-2 hours flights with this. Mainly in Asia, Japan Airlines, Vietnam Airliners, Cathay, Thai Airways, Singapore, etc. But also Finnair has a schedules flight in the summer half Helsinki - Amsterdam. Always enjoy seeing it at 2000 ft during my saterday morning walk. And there are probably way more.

I’m saying this because I don’t like long hauls, I can’t find the time to enjoy the extend of it. And setting it up before breakfast and then just go to work or something feels fake as well to me.

Thankfully this also has inbuilt time compression up to x4 times, this is talked about from 1:12 in the latest Inibuilds video.

This is shaping up to be a serious long haul option.

Will it also feature this?

Same error with all IniBuilds airplanes - Discussion Hub / Aircraft - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums

Or is that exclusive for the “stock aircraft” of FS2020 / 2024?

Don’t forget Delta. They have some continental 359 flights in the US of A.

Not only a long haul airdraft, as en example Iberia flies this aircraft Madrid to Heathrow daily.

I am reading that it is going to be a high fidelity aircraft, but as far as I know there is very little public information on the aircraft logically for commercial reasons… Am I missing something ?

That is simply not true. There is plenty if you ask, I know where you probably got that from and it isn’t true. There has been an A350 in X-Plane for 10 years. It wasn’t the best, but it was still a faithful replication of most of the systems, and now I hear it is getting a make over by Toliss who are Airbus licensed.

If you ask specifically and have type rated Pilots on board you may not be given the precise information but the type rated pilot will tell you what’s what and its down to the dev to code it, they will know the outcome but wont know how that outcome is reached perhaps in true Airbus logic. Thankfully in a desktop home sim that’s ok! and good dev’s as inbuilds are will code around this and you probably would not know or care that it is not doing it to precise Airbus logic.

If you search on internet you can find some FCOM of the A350, so the information is there.

Are you working on the Xbox version, and if so, do you have any information about what will be cut from it? Interior of course, but maybe some of the systems, screens, etc.? How far along is the Xbox version in development, if started at all?

I’m expecting a highly detailed airliner with a price around 80 USD very bad performance and some classic inibuild misshaps like having no HUD even when the newest A350 screens are modeled and no Taxi cam alleging sim limitations.

To be fair to iniBuilds, the PMDG 777 doesn’t have a taxi cam either, due to sim limitations.

Performance is something I will be eagerly looking out for. Great details but sub par performance is not desirable. I am actually holding off ordering Airbus MCDU till the time I am sure performance wont affect that investment.

Yeah, sadly this error plagues their a300 (payware) as well. So I’m not interested in the A350. Would be a bummer to do an 8hr flight just to have the displays frozen on final.

Second stream was today. Coming sometime the last week of February (24th - 28th I believe). £59.99 + VAT (or I guess local sales tax elsewhere). Includes FS2020 and 2024 compatible versions. Starting next week, you can see available liveries and info in the IniManager app.

That’s about $76USD as of today - definitely will buy but may wait a week for hotfixes and stuff. I don’t care for Airbuses in general but this looks excellent.
